The last Luis had one's that broke the offside rule, according to the fans..... (opposition ones that is)

For shame Spiderman, for shame!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

BBC 3 Launch: The Who "Meet the new boss same as the old boss" Very appropriate to BBC3 having failed for many years to attract the yuff the station was moved to the internet. So now it's back lessons learned bigger and better err not really. It's the same format that failed as last time still if at first you don't succeed just keep ignoring your audience. I love this quote from a TV critic on the schedule: "BBC Three offers nothing that can compete with social media. It's old-fashioned telly of the worst sort — created by the middle-aged in a patronising attempt to win the approval of the young. It's the broadcasting equivalent of a church hall disco, where the music is chosen by the vicar. Restoring BBC Three to the Freeview box makes as much sense as restarting the Radio 1 Roadshow with 'Kid' Jensen." Methinks the BBC has it's work cut out, still it's only the licence fee now where's that champagne.

Oh dear another pickle for the BBC 70% of convictions are female so a new report says this is sexist.* No surprise here the BBC criminalises women and the poor. But what do they do about it. If they decide not to prosecute word will get around and even more people will refuse to pay their licence. If they selectively prosecute men and less woman that is also sexist and no doubt will be noted by the courts? I have a suggestion which I am sure they will embrace: Declare everybody gender neutral, problem solved. *I do have some sympathy for the BBC. Some crimes have a gender bias e.g. mugging / stabbing / car theft are largely male crimes, does that mean the courts should re-balance them? Of course not. Edited by Badger11 (09 Feb 2022 7.59am)
