Parish has convinced Roy we are gonna spend in the summer, so he'll sign a new contract. Palace won't sign anyone and Roy is too much of a gent to walk away, so it's a win win for Parish lol.

We have never seen Meyer play in the hole behind a number 9, Camarasa was never given a chance, yet scored more goals for Cardiff last season than our entire forwards/midfielders Almost combined. Hodgson is the reason & wasting any more money on him or his choices is pointless, literally. I have never seen a worse few years of palace playing a home & really don't see any other way to make my point other than non attendence. We need to attack tomorrow & against Watford from the start; we are real danger of going down if we lose tomorrow.

If Roy has any sense he will insert a clause in the contract to make it conditional upon strengthening the squad after all he can't need the money

Brighton last year under Chris Hughton at this same juncture were on 27 pts after 26 games. They replaced Hughton with the younger Graham Potter and at this present time, after 26 games they are on 27 pts, below us in the table and having a net spend of £67 Million this season! Holes here and there and players filling in for long periods in very unnatural positions. Pair that with the most safety conscious manager in the country and eventually people going get the hump. I accept the means to an end argument when the results are happening but when they aren’t I question what goes on in the attacking third, which almost nothing. Nothing. I said we were lucky in the first half of this season but got shouted down by the usual disciples. When I’m watching the home games I do wonder why I’m there. It’s really armchair lounge stuff. If it was at home on tv after Sunday lunch and wine I would easily fall asleep. Tbh sometimes I’m half watching at home.

Maybe Parish feels Roy is better to manage the overhauling of the squad. however, after seeing how Parish thinks in that interview he is more likely to just view Roy as someone who takes what he’s dealt and his bollox, just like us, and then make up some reasons that contradict what he’s saying in the same session, what he’s said before or what’s happening and always been the case. You can only BS for so long because the truth and evidence of said BS becomes more and more obvious, only with loyal football fans you can get away with it. In the days of one page weekly croydon advertiser news you’d get away with it much more but with a video hundreds of thousands of fans can see, the BS is there in front of their eyes. However in the final analysis if Hodgson keeps us in the PL he will have met his objective.

Through an technical error I didnt renew my season ticket and now play sport every Saturday instead. I dont miss giving up my entire Saturdays and spending the best part of £100 to watch the crap Roy serves up every game. The board wont give cash to Roy as they dont trust him with money and dont really mind if he goes. Parish oversold the positives in his interview and was still a bit wolly. But it sounds like he at least knows what the critisms of him are. Had to read between the lines to see what he has been unhappy about. One of the more interesting points is that he seems unhappy with the lack of progress we've made with giving young talent an opportunity to develop. Something we will never get with Roy.
