Of course, those holding Chairs of Committees and other Gov. posts also get additional pay on top of the basic for the additional responsibilities, but don't overlook all the allowances that they all get on top of that salary (or the massive pension pots they accrue); costs of running an office(including staff costs), all travel between London and their constituency, postage stationery and reply paid postage, the cost of a home in either London or their constituency, heavily subsidised restaurants and bars and then general other allowable expenses (not including duck houses ).
Makes for a pretty good income to my mind.

But that isnt in there pocket.
The salary is still quite low for their status.
Increase it substantially and one job and one job alone.
I wouldnt do it for that salary even with the perks.
I couldnt take the drop

We need to distance ourselves from these losers as soon as possible.
