Brewster is surprisingly good in the air for his height and packs a real punch in his shot.
In the academy he used to celebrate a goal with a back flip but he is not allowed to do that any more.
I don't believe we will see him in our colours next season as we are seeking a different type of striker.

Very informative Willo, thank you

The only way we will not buy a Striker is if Zaha stays as he could well be used as another striker option especially if Fraser signs as that gives another wide option.

Personally I still think we will sign a striker.

I’m hearing 2 signings will be announced by end of this week.

Gallagher
One other - Could be Fraser or that young CB.

Thanks Dazza, let's hope it's Fraser, as he will definitely be in the match squad

I would make just two points. Firstly I resigned as a moderator a few months ago and secondly you're a liar

I thought moderation had been different last few months. Enjoy your freedom

Can’t see Liverpool loaning him anywhere tbh

They have Minamino and Origi to cover 3 spots up top. Klopp will give him game time - it’s not as if Firmino is ripping up trees

Firmino is underated, he plays as a deep lying false number 9, linking up play between midfield and Salah and Mane.

Brewster is a number 9 and wouldn't fit into Liverpools style of play at present, whether Klopp wants to keep him as a sub when things aren't going to well, who knows?

Firmino is at his best when he either drops off the front or either makes things happen or creates space for others. He works very hard, pressing the ball and covers a lot of ground in a game.
He was actually a defender until he was 17, starting off as a full-back and then playing in central defence.

Eventually yes, but how fit is he? He hasn't played since before lockdown. His contract at Bournemouth ended on 30th June. So how long will it take him to get up to speed and be match fit?
Even if he signs this week, I will be surprised if he makes the team for the Soton game.

So who's it gonna be dazza

Yney - Heading to Brentford...yep
Watkins - Still Interested.....villa will get him
Eduard - Still interested....too expensive
Mateta - In talks all about the fee.....wont happen
Batsman - Still interested trying to get Chelsea to lower fee or we take over his wages on remaining 12 months....he wont come back to palace we're not good enough for him
Abraham - Could leave Chelsea....no way

Personally I think we'll end up with welbeck.
If wages are reasonable and he could stay fit would suit the way we play...

If our posts were so bad why didn't the other moderator's issue us with yellows and reds?

Mate understood, we all get a little overly emotional at times.

Forget about the yellows and reds - we’re all together and proud to be Red and Blue on here..!!

Fraser's last game was on 7th March.

So on that basis is the suggestion that Zaha is going?

Yes I agree, it will take him time to get up to speed. Possible he might be on the bench? Hodgson requires players to earn their way into the squad, and then to start, but of course there's the minor matter of him signing for us first!
