Why? Just because you say so? If there are organized gangs of Muslims grooming vulnerable young girls for their own sexual satisfaction then they should be called "organized gangs of Muslims" for the very simple reason - that's what they are

If, as seems possible, this is being deliberately planned it’s really worrying.

If a bunch of , say Palace Fans, were anti-social and criminal it would be very judgemental to assume all Palace Fans think that way ? but we are a football club, hell bent on doing better than Brighton and scoring goals. What does islam preach about Gays ? apostates ? non-believers (kuffars?), women ? Jews ? dogs ? animal slaughter ? war ? paedophilia ? beheadings ? etc etc.

WE is a hypocrite because he's written on here warning about what he considers the far right. He's very happy to criticise groups that he doesn't like....but when it comes to others criticising groups he feels a protection towards....suddenly it's different. A hypocrite of the first order.

Times have moved on. Many Muslims don't now take the Quran literally either and see it in it's historical context. Obviously some still do but that is no reason to condemn all. What I am driving at is the need to build bridges and not to create divides.

If there are organized gangs of Muslims grooming vulnerable young girls for their own sexual satisfaction then they should be called "organized gangs of Muslims" for the very simple reason - that's what they are Untrue. They should be called "organised gangs of child molesting criminals". Only if every Muslim in the UK was involved should the term "Muslim" be used.

I am accused of being a hypocrite for criticising the far right but not "groups he feels a protection towards." This is typical SS misrepresentation. In fact it is total bs. I do not advocate, and never have advocated, any "protection" for anyone involved in grooming gangs who I regard as criminals of the worst kind. My only concern is that we don't tarnish perfectly respectable people by careless association, thus making things worse for them and, ultimately, for everyone else too. That's not protecting them. It's trying to avoid unnecessary harm for everyone.

The old testament of the Bible is very violent indeed, however this comparison is so fundamentally flawed. The Bible contains many different books from many 'prophets' and for a very long time in Christianity the common translation of nearly all Christian groups is that its words are 'inspired' by god and not the actual words of god written put onto page....there are exceptions with the ten commandments and Jesus 'quotes', but this comprises a very small part of the Bible. The only Christians who believe that the Bible are the literal words of god are Christian fundamentalists who comprise a very small percent of Christianity and are rarely violent today. The most common, indeed, the template for the Qu'ran is that these are the literal words from god and they can't be changed....This is a very important point and is a fundamental difference....these aren't words 'inspired' by god, these are the literal words. The Muslims who don't believe this comprise a very small percent of Islam and indeed are persecuted around the Islamic world. This leads to fundamental differences is the numbers of fundamentalists between the two religions.....and hence the differences in religious inspired violence.

There certainly must be some kind of linkage causing a domino effect. I have little doubt the Police, and maybe even the security forces, will be investigating that aspect.

Once again WE tries to dance on his pin but he leaves gaping holes in his argumentation. He has indeed criticised the 'far right' ideology (which is really the dissident right). He's on these pages warning about 'Nazis' and liberally waffles and scorns this group he actually knows bugger all about. In that criticism he doesn't distinguish between different elements he criticises the whole group.....Zero concerns. Yet with the followers of the Islamic ideology....A group he seeks to 'protect' (oh the hubris) he is keen to distinguish between those in Islam who are peaceful and those who aren't...Indeed, ridiculously he says that those who aren't are criminals instead of Muslims....as if he is the one who decides. As far as I know there has been zero criticism on these pages for peaceful Muslims. A total hypocrite. Edited by Stirlingsays (26 Feb 2020 8.10pm)

If there is to be a debate on the relative merits of Christianity and Islam then I will not involve myself. I am a non believer and think religion itself is the cause of a great deal of the trouble in our world. I don't excuse Islam for providing some people with the excuses they use for carrying out criminal activities. Just as I don't excuse Christianity for burning heretics in the past. My concern about the grooming gangs is simply to avoid throwing everyone who is a Muslim under the same bus as those criminals who are actually involved. Many Muslims, having lived here, gone to our schools and begun to absorb our culture know full well the the instructions in the Quran cannot be taken literally. We mustn't encourage them back into the arms of the fundamentalists. We need them in our camp.
