I can understand the 'anyone but the other guy' outlook to an extent, but people tend to forget that self serving types actively use that against their supporters to get away ith all sorts.. and Bojo is a good example of that. He cares about number one, and politically as result we pretty much politically end up getting his numbers twos.

In the light of Starmer's recent 'brexit' comments, let it not be forgotten that he voted 48 times to block Brexit and wanted a second EU referendum. Any previously Labour voter up north who angrily voted for Johnson because of the blocking efforts of remainers needs to be told in no uncertain terms that Starmer was at the centre of that blocking policy. The idea that Brexit would be safe in his hands is ridiculous in my view. He is as dishonest as the rest of them.

Let's just see who takes over from Johnson when he goes. My guess is Jeremy Hunt or one of the former bankers. All I can guarantee is that he will be worse than Johnson (yes that's possible) and probably take us into some form of lockdown this autumn/winter (whether that's pandemic related, climate related, or something else)

By the way, amazing that our media can completely ignore what's currently going on in Holland. Farmers, Fisherman and many other protestors blockading roads, ports etc, police firing on protestors, police on video using agent provocateurs etc. Large parts of the country are at a complete standstill. Didn't even make an appearance among such important news items as "heavy rain in Mumbai"

It is both staggering and yet not surprising. The entire narrative at the moment seems to be that all is rosy over in EU la-la land when the reality is the utter opposite.

Yet those in real power couldn't give a damn about the interests of the majorities and never have.....they are more than happy to minimize and ignore whatever goes against their narratives and highlight and promote only that which they want you to think. The organised minority always controls the disorganised majority....for example population wide attitudes on capital punishment and immigration were ignored for decade upon decade...all the promises made were misdirections. When you look into how it actually works you find out democracy is largely a myth.....your choices are restricted to whatever higher interests are prepared to tolerate.....So you ultimately get two variation choices of the same salad.
