I agree. I think there's an element of weak leadership about this. Can you imagine Roy Keane letting this happen to one of his teammates?

"Next one of you to go in on him are getting your legs broken" then keep your word.

It would soon cut this out. As it is, the refs have the hump with zaha and are hanging him out to dry. Nobody is putting pressure on them to do their job.

A couple of nasty retaliatory challenges and all of a sudden they've not got an easy life and have to take control.

I don't think there is any player in the team with that nasty streak. I would like to see Luka talking more to the ref though.

we got away with no Wilf against Fulham. Cos they are really not very good.

Will zaha be back for the next game ?

Why wasn't Barnes booked again for screaming at the assistant ref? Was it that the ref hadn't got his card out fast enough to book him once? This was just after he was blown up for "diving"

yes i wondered why Barnes did not get 2 yellows as well. His rant at the ref was in very much in the same vain as Wilf's just without the clap!!

I agree,he was swearing at the linesman and totally lost it.

Wilf looks like a choir boy clapping the ref compared to Barnes who probably called the lino every swear word under the sun.

I still think Wilf will get an additional one match ban.

One rule for Wilf, one rule for Barnes.

I sent to the "Recall of '99 Dinner"- many of those guys were there and to hear it told was quite something.
We need to react as a team of course but also given that his mates know Wolf's disposition why weren't they there pulling him away?
Jedi, Murray and the like would have been in the melee!!

On the basis opposition teams foul in rotation, ours should beef the foulers in rotation. They should practice how to do just enough to stay bellow a Yellow.

But not threatening to break legs. Just in your face beefing to force the refs hand

I'd have thought we'd have heard by now, if it was more than one match. It'd be very unfair if we had to begin this week's training not knowing availability for Saturday.
