But if you want to make comparisons I wonder what the comparison of white English grooming gangs in the Costa Del sol to Asian Muslim gangs in northern towns in Britain are? Edited by Stirlingsays (18 Sep 2018 11.25am) Will have to agree to differ on this one. Nothing to do with going out in the sun and everything to do with getting indignently worked up. Nothing racist about it at all whenever I have seen or used it. I really don't understand this comment. What is English. This country has had thousands of years of immigration. Celts, Saxons, Vikings, Normans, Hugenouts,Irish, Eastern Europeans in the late victorian age, commonwealth and then most recently from the accession countries of the EU. (Whilst 'the English' as a nation have emigrated all over the world - destroyed hundreds of idigenous peoples and cultures). Edited by Islington Eagle (18 Sep 2018 11.33am) Yes, let's look at that. The Celts as a group do not exist, it is a name given to various undefined tribes that originally lived in Europe. They have been here since the Iron age. The Saxons did not come here in vast numbers but those that did caused conflict with the post Roman inhabitants. Not a good advert for immigration. The Vikings raided, stole , murdered and eventually setted in modest numbers. They caused conflict and many settlers were eventually killed. Not many 'Vikings' in our genes and not a good advert for immigration. The Normans invaded and replaced our ruling class but were here in small numbers. They destroyed the existing culture for their own ends. You think that is desirable? The Irish came here in relatively small numbers during the famine and many of them left again for America. Those communities that still remained such as in Scotland have caused sectarian frictions ever since. Great. Huguenots? There were about fifty thousand of them in total. Hardly mass immigration. That many people come here every 3 months currently. So what was your point again?

The ideology underlying racist practices often includes the idea that humans can be subdivided into distinct groups that are different due to their social behavior and their innate capacities as well as the idea that they can be ranked as inferior or superior. It's a racist term!

This is like the Monty Python "What did the Romans do for us" sketch. Just hilarious. All immigration is BAD - there is no good immigration EVER. Never in Human history has someone going to somewhere else been a good thing. The first humans should have never left Africa and moved to the middle East. During the ice age those crazy Neanderthals should have stayed in Europe and not crossed the ice bridge to Britain. Columbus should never have gone to the americas.

You quoted these migrations as if to justify the current 250k coming here yearly. I am showing you that migrations to Britain have hardly been positive for the existing population. Also, the numbers have been small and on an island where the population was small and modern day issues did not apply. If you must make these stupid simplistic comparisons then you must expect simplistic rejections of such tosh. What is 'English'? The question should be, what is it we don't want to become 'English' Mass rape of young girls, religious fanaticism, divided communities, a constant threat of terrorism. forced marriages, mistreatment of women. Just a few 'simplistic' examples to be going on with. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (18 Sep 2018 2.54pm)

The historical facts are what they are. I didn't invent them. When one group invades another's land it is rarely peaceful or welcomed.
