I am quite encouraged that the FFP / PSR are having some impact and that some of the stupid money buying clubs who haven't paid any attention to financials have not anticipated it actually having any teeth Namely those who have spent big, and critically handed over stupidly massive salaries on players with huge reputations who have undelivered. Not only has their value plummeted but they can't even take the loss on those players and sell them cheaper because the salaries are too big for any prospective buyers and of course the players won't take a pay cut Chelsea and Man Utd I am looking at you But Newcastle, who haven't gone totally nuts with unlimited funds, have spent enough to be constrained. Man City are in a different battle that could rip up the PL completely. Villa don't have the spare cash and are not an exciting destination for Olise / Eze even though in the Champions League Arsenal and Liverpool, like Man City, could be options (threats) but of course they have good teams already do game time is limited for new signings Michael, stick with Palace for another year while things settle down, it will be lots of fun and the grass is not always greener! Even with FFP rules Man U have found £70m from somewhere to bid for Braithwaite!

It appears one CL club has approached Palace re Olise - namely Bayern München (as per The Athletic). He should get perennial CL football with them even with Kompany at the helm. This or Man City would seem like a proper step up. I still wouldn't be surprised if PSG show up with an offer, which I still maintain may be an ideal move for a player who wants to play for France, with PSG also regularly reaching the latter stages of the CL. If he goes to Newcastle then he clearly isn't that ambitious. As it is I still hope he wants to give Palace one more season.

If Chelsea, Newcastle or Man Utd want him and he wants to go they will have to dig a lot deeper than 60m, Bayern would be a decent move for him, Man City will ruin him Grealish style, he and Eze should stay until they get an offer from PSG, Real Madrid or Barcelona, the easy life.

If you believe in yourself as a footballer then you don't say no to City, regardless of how well any of us think a player might fit in. For me, Olise would fit in City like a glove with the way he plays. Unlike Eze he seems less interested in beating multiple players and the precision of his passing, crossing, and shooting is getting better and better.

I’ll be gutted if Olise goes to Chelsea but a premium sale price should soften the blow. Parish & Freedman however need to be very careful they don’t get suckered into taking 1 or 2 of Chelsea badly performing players from last season. My Chelsea mates are desperate to get rid of 5 or 6 dead wood players and Madueke’s name crops up more than most. I watched him towards the end of the season and was shocked at how bad he was. His name is now being touted around in the media as a potential “good swap” Yeah right. Nice try guys!!!

I think its clearly chelsea briefing the media to unsettle the player. Chelsea apparently need to sell players for PSR/FFP - but look like they're getting around this with selling all their hotel, training grounds, women's team to the Owners. As for links to Newcastle - LOL

I've been saying for quite a while now that Olise is the Mahrez replacement that they've been searching for as they've not really replaced him (not that it's affected them too much!).

Disagree, Man city a bad move for him, particularly as the amount of game time he will be asked to play, Alvarez 54, Foden, 53, Rodri 50, Silva, 49. Olise has managed 37, 28 and 19 last season, i think his fitness will be a major factor in where he goes, it should be if he is thinking clearly.

I told Pep after Olises's first year here but as my recommendations do not carry any weight he re-upped Mahrez for another year and they won the Champions League
