It will be us to go down. Our run in is terrible.

If it wasn’t for points deductions we’d be 4th off bottom now, could be worse I suppose, we actually got relegated finishing 4th off bottom once

5 point advantage over Luton, basically six given the goal difference, plus two games in hand.

If we win just one of seven, they need to win three of five to overtake us. Ain't happening.

They have brentford, Everton and Fulham at home.
All very winnable games in that Stadium and with their team ethic.
I hope I am wrong but I fear we will be the team to go with everyone saying - how the f*** did that happen!
I pray that we can pick up points and with Olise back it is just possible but we just cannot win games.

Goes without saying but the Westham and Newcastle home games after tomorrow are big ones. Think that will decide our fate?

This team has more quality than previous years but nowhere near the fight, barely any fight.

The former may just keep us up if luck goes our way however without it the latter will relegate us.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

All of whom are above them. Luton have been a good presence this season but they've only won six games out of 33, we're now worrying that they're going to win 50% of that total again in 5 games? And even if they do, it still wouldn't be enough if we take just 4 points from our final seven.

I'm not being cocky or arrogant and I'm well aware of Oldham etc but, honestly, if we get relegated from this position we deserve to be liquidated. With Olise back for the run in, we should start taking some points.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

I hope that you are right.
Luton just appear to be more up for a scrap than we do that's all.
We will probably take points off Liverpool today in typical Palace fashion just to shut me up!

Yet they still keep dropping points.

They have to swing things massively and we really have to get nothing the rest of the season which I just don’t see happening.
After todays game it really will be squeeky bum time but that could change with a single win. After Liverpool we have as good a chance as those we are playing to get maximum points in any of those games.

At last some common sense. After all we gained 8 points from the reverse fixtures (2 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats).

Also, in the hope of calming the Negative Nancys (or should that be Nigels) on here,

our chances of going down are 1.9% (or 50-1) as per this link.

Praying that in a couple of games our quality levels are high enough to achieve 2 winning performances. Seems a whiff of panic is creeping in, last weekend with Ayew's uncontrolled shot, highlighted on MOTD, where with more composure he could of passed left and other similar incidents at previous home matches. Next 2 home games are critical for at least 1 win. New manager may need to show his versatility very soon in terms of formation as well, if the next 3 games don't gain us a few points. Think we can get through this season to a happy conclusion but might well be bumpy. COYP !!

I read this earlier and tend to sit on the fence with this. I believe it is a fine balance between fitness after injuries, personnel in terms of actual quality, tactics from management etc. What I saw today though was amazing spirit and fight.

I bet there will be more than a few season ticket renewals this week from those that were sitting on the fence.
