Put simply, pray to the Gods he recovers from his injury and he is not sold until the summer. We are a 'one-trick pony' team when he plays, when he is absent the shocking limitations of our present team are pitifully exposed and our blighted manager seems to have no idea how to play without him. Until we get a midfield general we will continue to struggle, possibly fatally this season.

Whilst for sure there would be an impressive queue of clubs that would be pleased to have Olise on their staff, I can honestly see him going to PSG. Originally posted by Plaistow Eagle
Yeah - so would I hence my comments..!! All I’m saying is that Sancho would be a much better/like option for like swap deal should this scenario come to pass - present itself..!! Sancho still only 23 and born in Camberwell. Personally I see Olise going to City - when the time is right - I have nothing to back that assumption - but just my opinion..!! COYP

With you all the way. On current form he must surely have a value of at least £150m if he is looked after. Not so sure Roy will ever wake up from his tunnel vision.

All his wages show is how badly mismanaged Man U is/ has been as a club - resulting in the mess they are now..!! So in answer to your question think I’m still on planet Earth..!! COYP So, he will stay and pick up his 1m a month, or go to a champions league club, where Man U, will subsidize his wages
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

Of course we are all entitled to our opinions and this board is a place to share and discuss. What I find frustrating is that currently the club can’t be seen to be doing right for doing wrong. So your comment about Olise appearing to be pushed back into action prematurely suggests you are more willing to accept that the club is in the wrong than give the benefit of the doubt that, well, s*** happens. I’ve supported Palace for over 50 years, and comparatively, this is as good as it gets ! I have also been highly critical of the club and the current situation. I realise that whether our level of frustration is justified or not, it is real and can’t be ignored. And I’m as guilty as anyone else, maybe even more so, when expressing my frustrations. I apologise if I have offended you and I hope that you continue to add your contributions to the issues that mean so much to us all. NEILLO, Apologies fully accepted and no offence. Appreciate your response. Like most of us we are frustrated with the current situation and some of my comments have without a doubt been negative about the club which I dont like but I felt I needed to get off my chest.

Clarke is right footed, and is an outstanding prospect, he is 23, has scored 21 goals and 14 assist, in what i class the second hardest division in Europe, at reading Olise had 7 goals and 12 assists, you, me or anyone know how he we perform in the Premier, but i suspect he will be fantastic, the long term replacement for Olise could be Morgan Whittaker who is developing very well, nobody wants Olise to leave but he will in the summer, start planning ahead My point is that Clarke may very well be a great prospect, but he's highly unlikely to be able to fill Olise's boots midway through a Premier League season. Olise wasn't the Olise he is now straight away, it's taken time and patience. The same way with Eze. Clarke may be the future but the position we're in we do have to look at the short term and that has to be keeping hold of Olise.
