We are a 1 dimensional team drilled so much to keep our shape that we are incapable of doing anything different. Roy was happy with the effort because they did what he has taught them to do- keep your shape and only pass to the guys near you even if that means backwards. He felt 0-2 was harsh presumably then 0-1 would have been a fair result. He sounds like a man who believes our rightful place in this league is 17th if we shouldn’t expect to beat Bournemouth.

The crazy thing is Royball just might keep him in his job by earning us a few points in the next 5 games! It’s not the worst approach against the top teams. If he survives til New Year and we get Eze back we will plod on til the summer but if we lose the next 5 Parish will get rid of him. He’s probably sent Dougie off already to look for a suitable replacement just in case.

Failing to give Eze a shot cost PV his job. Failing to give anyone else a shot when so many of the side are out of form or well past their best may yet get Roy sacked.

Dear Mr Parish and Hodgson. Us paying fans have been putting up with this rubbish since we were promoted in 2013. Do you not think we deserve better in our 11th consecutive season in the Premier League? With maximum attendances of barely 11,000, why is it that Luton and Bournemouth can play attractive football on a shoestring budget, but we can’t? Enough is enough! Change is warranted and due!

We started ok and Olise should have played in Ayew who would have been 1 v 1 with the keeper. Similarly Edouard and Schlupp got in each others way trying to get to the rebound from Ayew's shot. But that was as good as it got. Apart from Lerma's shot we virtually created zilch in the second half. Fatigue would have been a factor but this performance will have consequences and let's hope the squad get a boost in January.

Gormless and slow in defence, powderpuff and slow in attack. To be sure I can't see that we are going to improve.

Apparently someone threw an object at Roy on his way off?
Out of order if so, even after a terrible Palace display.
Yes - we could and should have scored but we didn't and we were beaten easily by a team who, on paper, we should beat.
No Eze or Doucoure but other than that we were at full strength - big misses I know but it shows how little depth we have.
Ward was just awful again but he wasn't alone.
Roy and Ray set this up and drill the team and it just isn't good enough any longer.
No invention, less effort from some than expected, no movement - the list goes on.
January looms large and I can see the likes of Anderson looking to leave and an exodus would spell a bigger disaster than we are already experiencing.
Only one team in the league has scored less than us and a poor Edouarde has scored half of our 14 goals - worrying.
I believe that Roy should go but who replaces him?
People mention Cooper but he is doing worse with more talent at his disposal, so why him?
I haven't a clue how to fix this right now but with the fixtures that lie ahead of us is I would suggest that bar a miracle we will be in the relegation zone in January with unhappy players and fans.
This is where Steve Parish will need his wits about him and we can only hope that the players have their own team talk asap to try and stem this kind of performance.
I am unable to go to the game on Saturday and for once I am not sorry.

The football under Hodgson has speedily reverted to that of the final two seasons of his first tenure. There's no surprise to it, this is how he operates, the tactics employed reflecting his miserable attitude to the game.
The players could see what was in store and have accelerated Roy's demise.
I again refer to Tony Pulis who managed to take a group of bang average players and make them greater than the sum of their parts. Roy does the opposite.
Roy isn't a pleasant character, from a psychological viewpoint the mask has fallen off - the comments about the youngsters and the fans reveal the person beneath those comments, bitter, haughty.
Time to go.

Players who know they won't be dropped, players who are not good enough and even worse, players who looked like they didn't even wanna be there. We've got Liverpool to look forward to now with probably Clyne and ward as our full backs. I don't even blame Roy, he was only appointed as he was an easy option to try and cover the cracks, we all knew a couple of injuries would see the wall start falling down. We chose not to address it in the summer, if its not addressed in January we only have ourselves to blame.

Who would go join us come January.
We are not an attractive prospect and with a short term Manager in place it makes it even more difficult.
Worrying.

After the shambles, Hodgson says "The fact is, the fans have been spoiled here in recent times." "All our efforts, all our work, all our toughing it out to keep us in the game didn't create enough goal chances and, as a result, the fans are unhappy because they came here expecting us to blow this tiny Bournemouth team away."

"I think the players' efforts in the second half were worthy of some sort of support really."

"We can't force the fans to stay behind them in those moments. We can't get them to do what they are so famed for doing if they chose not to do that."

So the fans are spoilt in paying an arm and a leg to watch a dire performance that Hodgson is uncritical of. He talks of the players' effort - was he watching a different game? His contempt of the fans and his hubris are appalling.

The worst performance from Palace for a very long time.

We do have injuries to key players, and we did spend money on players who have contributed nothing this season.

Unfortunately, we did not strengthen the squad sufficiently for whatever reason and unfortunately, when the fans turn on the team, the first victim will be the manager.

Unless we get some outstanding performances over Christmas, it could be goodbye Roy I'm sorry to say. We could be dangerously near the bottom come January and the chairman isn't going to risk relegation.

SP has always been luckyimo. This season he may again be lucky as the bottom teams are poor. I blame Roy for the boring tactics and last night the teams lacked any shape and then to criticise the fans was just appalling. I blame Parish for the ridiculously poor window and apparently last night said we may visit the.oan marketin January. stevie mate, the left winger last night who rinsed Ward was available on loan in the summer. I am sick of the bs talk from him. We obviously have no money just fess up then. Oh and also explain the £20m on Henderson
