Can you imagine when we get Olise and Franca back fit, i think we will be a real threat to anyone.

That will make a pleasant change we are normally only a threat to ourselves,Palace shoot 'emselves in the foot such a long video.

I also think, not a popular opinion, we have to thank Steve Parish and Roy Hodgson for our position and financial management of the available funds

agreed. There are many massive clubs in the Championship. We must never get complacent.

Weird game. First half was right back to some of our performances in Roy's first spell. Second half started the same but from about 65 minutes we were very good.

Very encouraging that Edouard got two goals, if he can turn this into a sustained run rather than an outlier, like his debut, it will change the shape of our season.

I know Wolves were pressing us high but thought we gave the ball away far too often in our own half. Schlupp was a passenger, again. Ayew busy but wasteful with his big chance in the first half and several overhit through balls.

This season will entirely depend on us keeping key players fit as our first XI is a wildly different standard to the reserves.

Anyway, great result to take into the international break
ahead of some tricky fixtures.

Let's hope none of our internationals come back crocked.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Enjoyable game in the end, should’ve won more comfortably, but until we can defend crosses and set pieces we’re always going to make hard work of it

Edouard is definitely making Haaland sweat a bit now in the chase for the golden boot

What a turnaround! The change was Mateta - as anyone at the game would confirm. Schlupp can’t start the next game - let’s have it right. We have Olise to return and Franca too. 7th in the league after 4 games. When was the last time we started a season as well?

It happened again, but I refused to look. The app is at least a minute ahead of coverage. My son's told me to mute it whatever that means.

Goes to show that Sky/BT don't broadcast 'live' games. I'm out in Cabo Verde ATM & watched the game here, but, it was broadcast by the Premier League themselves, I also got notifications, they were 1 min behind coverage. Lol.

Q? Who would you start in place of Schlupp without upsetting the balance & cohesion of the team?
