Should read 'offer £70 million for Ayew instead.'

In yesterdays game Ayew was clearly our stand out player causing huge problems by running with the ball, he put the best ball of the game across Brentford's six yard that should've been easily converted.

So that makes Ayew a more creative player than Eze - one ball across the box??
Despite not being a striker Eze scored 10 goals last season in contrast to Ayew's 3 and Ayew plays as a forward as opposed to a midfield player and played far more minutes than Eze.
This is not to criticise Ayew who makes a very good contribution to the team.
However, to suggest he creates the 'same, if not more, than Eze' is something that would be very difficult to substantiate.
They both have a role to play in their different ways.

Anyone who thinks Ward is not only good enough to give a new contract and keep in the squad but to actually start AND be made captain should be lined up and shot.

Freedman and Hodgson should be 3 games away from getting sacked for these decisions alone.

Here here!! Too slow now, feck knows why we didn't let him go. A thanks for his loyalty my ass

I know Whoscored ratings are limited but as a rough guide they're not bad. They agreed with everyone who's posted in identifying our full backs and striker as areas of weakness, My point is that, understandably, when we watch Palace, we watch Palace; Ward, Mitchell and Edouarde were all rated more highly than their opposite numbers for Brentford.

With the return of injured players we know our attack will be sharper, though how much so depends on what Franca can do. The "two more over the line" was said to include an attacker so maybe we'll see a no. 9 who can at least sometimes turn our periods of dominance into goals and results, I have a nasty feeling the defender will have to be a goalkepper thanks to Guaita - unless we can sue him for the price of Henderson (lol)? Signing Ferguson showed awareness of a need to bring in new full backs and that wa a while ago. Neverthless we've had a lot of shots this season and if we had someone who put more of them in we could easily be two or three points better off.

Brentford away is never an easy fixture and a good point having gone a goal down. It is easy to pick holes in players when a goal is conceded to their direct opponent. We all know Ward is not and never has been a super quick defender. He did though show plenty of composure to nullify a similar break in the second half. Throughout the game we held firm from Brentford's corner's throw ins and free kicks. Ward was one of the players winning headers organising players and reading the danger.

And from our vast supplies of full backs, who would you play instead of Ward?

Nice stadium for away fans, never seen such a quiet impotent home crowd.

London Pride a 4 quid a pint early then price goes up nearer kick off

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
