Chris Packham literally makes a programme on Channel 4 saying is it time to break the law for climate change and nothing happens.

But Lawrence Fox is positive towards blade runners in London and you're nicked mate.

Britain today.

He thinks that we should screw up the country and objectors should just keep quiet.

Perhaps we should de-platform anybody who uses the W word.

Several Tory MPs have publicly lauded the ULEZ protestors which I think is wrong. I hate Khan but criminal damage is also wrong.

Sure....I agree.

However, we live in a country where criminal damage has gone unpunished in the courts because it was for a political cause....ie climate protest.

What you are seeing are double standards writ large.

Calvin Robinson just released a video statement after his sacking by GBNews. Quite rightly he said the rot set in after Mark Steyn and he makes statements concerning the right that unfortunately ring true.

The right are being edged out, continually moved to accept the left's narratives.....regulated in what they can say....continually harassed...sometimes prosecuted.

An actual right aren't allowed to air in this country.

Those who hold the line are fired....it's a badge of honour and I see it as proof of their credentials.

By their fruits you will know them.

Obviously you have your ideological position on this, but I'd say with a cynics eye that they want to run it as a business, which means growth. And I think maybe they've reached the limit of growth with the initial model and have decided that in order to grow the channel further they will need to appeal to a wider audience, middle right, shall we say, in order to do so.

That's business

For everything else there's Social Media. Plenty on there that fits your definition of 'actual right', with its own niche audiences for each channel, grifter and or genuine content creator.

TV is a dying media form anyway. So I wouldn't be so defeatist.

This also isn't strictly true. Plenty of examples of climate protesters being jailed or prosecuted. For example the helmets that climbed the QEII bridge. 3 years. Various roadblock protesters jailed for terms from weeks to months. Imbeciles who smashed up Barclays in 2022, jailed.

Sympathy for a cause, whether it be ULEZ vandalism or protest vandalism is not the same as immunity, or freedom to act with impunity.

On this comparison you appear to be seeing what you want to see rather than the reality

I didn't say that though.

My statement says that this has happened and the only time it has been allowed is for leftist causes.

Robinson gives his opinion on this very topic and some background as to the thinking within the organisation in his dismissal video.

Social media you say.....you mean the outlet that government is just about to control and censor with the 'online harms' bill.

Can you give evidence of this or examples?

If they do exist, I'm pretty sure one could find examples for both sides of the political spectrum.

The one that ''attempts to crack down on illegal content like child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and to minimize the possibility that kids might encounter harmful and age-inappropriate content, including online harassment as well as content that glorifies suicide, self-harm, and eating disorders?'

Yes I'm aware of it.

It's always fascinated me that the internet has never really been properly regulated. Considering it acts as a sort of real life proxy (or second life, for those who know what that is) it's amazing and horrendous in equal measure that it's not properly policed. Like a Library is, for example. With rules and regulations. It's probably because it's impossible to do so due to its scale, but I do think people take it so much for granted now that it's basically a massive playground of limited or unenforcible rules that it's somehow a bad thing to apply laws and decency to what is effectively a public space.
