A pattern with Palace against teams like this we don't turn up. Time after time we waste chances to gain some points this is really costing us. 0 effort put into this game the manager might as well select people from the crowd you would see far more effort. Not even sure what tactics we was suppose to be playing either. I am puzzled again by the team selection this is not against a top team why we wasn't starting with attacking lineup is strange against a team who leak goals. No point having those youth players on the bench never going to be used. Players who are not performing need to be dropped I am sick of him selecting favorites Wilf is one of them bring him on later in the game (This is another problem we are predictable)

A missed opportunity to create a bit of an early season safety net. We should be winning games like this.

I thought Ayew played very well. Incredible work rate, good turn of speed and tenacious tackler. He’s given too much work to do. I thought Jairo played with calmness and imagination - he didn’t put a foot wrong. Guita’s handling and positioning was excellent - top-quality ‘keeper.

On my way home after the game. Interesting to read what others have written - very accurate. Great support from Palace fans (As usual), but in truth, it didn’t seem to lift the team. They were flat and lacked their usual creativity. Leicester fans were on edge the whole time - booing back passing. I would say that Match of the Day would be lucky to edit this to find 2 mins of action. Didn’t realise how small Brendon Rodger’s was. Big Pat looked huge against him! The big positive was Jairo. Positioning was a little wayward, but he was an upgrade on Mitchell today. He has a great touch, fast and on that performance- deserves a starting spot against Wolves.

They are very poor, and there is a reason they are bottom. Vardy now bench sits and Maddison is now their only real threat. Take him away and they would look really bad.

Ayew was absolutely terrible today. Repeatedly gave the ball away, couldn't hold it up and was bullied off of it, don't recall him beating a man all game and contributed one cross I think. Didn't even buy his usual couple of fouls that he normally does.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Luka was again looking lost & confused. I disagree. I thought he was fairly competent, particularly in view of how badly everyone around him was playing.

He's suspended for their next game, as a consequence of his yellow card today for simulation.

I actually think Ayew was the worst player out of the 22 on the pitch today and yet he stayed on for 90 minutes. just don't get it. We are so poor down the right hand side. Got to strengthen in January If we play our usual waiting game in January window and then don’t back PV, I wouldn’t blame him if he walked. All summer he said we needed at least 2 midfielders. We still do and a couple of full backs

The more i see the performances, i think that PVs only attribute is attracting players, he was clueless today, the formation is wrong, the substitutes were awful, Wilf and Ayew were pathetic, and Doucoure looks like he is out of his depth in the premiership, he is a yellow card a game, but having said that we need two DMs and Wilf, Eze and Olise need more freedom, i thought Guehi did ok, Andersen was good, Luka and Jairo, Whattt!!!, the front three should all have been changed to Ebiowei, Mateta and Olise at half time, Pathetic.
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

Yes it's beginning to look like that is correct, he certainly lacks the enthusiasm and skills of CG, not sure if he was worth 21m that we are supposed to have paid for him!
