You are delusional the transport is awful. I have used public and my own transport. When we was in Championship I booked a box and parking spot I had to turn up 3 hours before to get in and it still was not great. If you live just up the road may not be an issue or a few other places in London but otherwise terrible. This is why you even hear players etc mention about it and Sky people say how terrible it is. I met up with friends and they even said about how awful the transport was they have been to groups all over the world. On paper it may sound good 3 stations etc but its not and really is not fit for disabled people. Its a limitation of the area. The public transport links to Selhurst are good. Of course, traffic can be a nightmare but that is due to location. I drive every home game and use JustPark paying £6 per game. Never a problem, usually home in Horsham by 6.30

At least it hasn't dragged on with no sign of anything actually happening.

Never a problem, usually home in Horsham by 6.30 Traffic is normally busy but ok, takes 40 minutes from Warlingham area to Sainsburys car park. Fortunately have a reserved spot so arrive 2 hours before kick off get right on it and then get someone else to drive home. Perfect!

Just seen this on click-bait . . . [Link] worrying or nothing? Thoughts/insights
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

There is one well known activist a man who lives in a 4 bedroom council house with his wife and is not happy. Perhaps the council have only offered him a smaller place or not enough compensation? There is always going to be grumbles from the locals but they chose to live near a stadium just like the Heathrow 3rd runway protestors who bought cheap under the flight path.

I suspect the matters set out will present a stumbling block and delay the project while the authority takes on board the observations of these protest groups. However, the emotive element of making people "homeless" and so on renders this article today's chip wrap, let alone tomorrow's.

Yes the vocal complainant is a Scouser, ex-Union official. I suspect he will not be entitled to a 4 bed house should he be moved. He is a tenant not an owner. Perhaps he believes bigger compensation ay be had! Edited by Spiderman (20 Sep 2022 9.35pm)
