I'm all ears on this one. Clearly you are one of the idiots that thinks as long as clueless TV pundits are praising Palace's atmosphere the HF can just go through life doing whatever they want.

Well, your point was about how you are more charitable than the HF, not me. But if you don’t want to share we shall all assume you are doing far more than the HFs food bank initiative. You go ahead and assume what you like. You seem to anyway.

I agree with your first point on cowardly intimidation, but the atmosphere at Selhurst was poor from the Holmesdale stand being built onwards. Clubs didn’t know or think about this and everyone got spread everywhere. Then you get the same people in the same seats for decades.

There was a letter that they asked there mum to write which made them look like a bunch of muppets. After they realised that, they then tried to start something in the upper tier to save face, via balloons. Even though a lot of Palace fans would’ve done this anyway. Maybe the hf should just do what they do, simple. There really is no need for all this look at us sh!te. Oh look at us, look what we’re going to do, aren’t we great! Just do it, and if it works great! It’s like them t***s who give something to the homeless, but then get a photo of them doing it to show everyone just how great they are. It’s getting beyond plastic.

Clearly you are one of the idiots that thinks as long as clueless TV pundits are praising Palace's atmosphere the HF can just go through life doing whatever they want. Sorry, but this is bollocks. The atmosphere was crap like all the other grounds. They've been going since 2005 so deserve more credit than 'they will not be around for ever' - the fact of the matter is that they are growing in size so will probably be around for a long time. I expect when safe standing eventually gets introduced in the Holmesdale Lower/new stand built, they will double as a lot of the younger crowd enjoy the noise and want to be part of it, whilst many of the older crowd will move to the new stand for better facilities. With regards to your 30:1 ratio, the 1 out sing the 30 and are the ones that get the atmosphere going. When Vieira praises our fans for getting behind the team and making a difference, I very much doubt it's aimed at the majority who sit in silence for 90 mins. You might think that's disrespectful but it's the truth - this is not a criticism of Palace fans, but the sad reality that 90% Premier League stadiums are sterile, and we'd be no different if it wasn't for the HF. Intimidating a child on the train is terrible and unacceptable, but you're tarnishing the whole group because of the action of one of them (or maybe a small group). There are also many other morons who go to Palace who are not part of the HF. I was told the other day that they stayed at Covent Garden before the semi final to clear up all the mess left by the Palace fans. They do a lot for local charity which is great - who cares if they bang the drum about it, it probably helps get more donations (I don't think they do by the way, I only know from reading it on here). Yes, they have a few idiots amongst them, but that's a general reflection of society - we have a few on here too. The good they do far outweighs the bad and they a real asset to our club. They have gradually built a relationship with Parish and the club through hard work, over and above commitment and intelligent negotiation to get the privileged treatment. I personally have no problem with that. Keep up great work.
