Secondly, where does this leave everything now and to what extent can you argue that the world, especially gov. and police, are now waking up to what is total nonsense which many have been (necessarily quietly) pointing out for some time now?

Sussex Police have withdrawn their 'tweet' which stated their mission to clamp down on anybody making (what they deem) hateful remarks about that nonce now declaring themselves a woman. Any right thinking individual should be able to point at that in the first instance and say 'That's not logical, it doesn't make any sense and this is surely fascism at it's core in enforcing people to legally comply with ideological and nonsensical thought to protect a convicted paedophile?'

Question for me is - where does this leave us now?

Suella Braverman had declared it as 'denying biology'. That is right of course but what does that mean in the enforcement of using self determined pronouns? That's not only 'denying biology' but language too. Are we now free to say that x is not y just because x wants to be (or if you subscribe, 'believes they are') y?

Is this 'anti-male' as some bloke, a former Olympic athlete, can be 'woman of the year' but as soon as one is fiddling kids they're definitely a man?

It's f**king nonsense in my eyes and I hope the tide is turning. This is quite interesting in relation to the law. It's a couple of months old and from the Guardian, who must be in a bit of a spin about it. Apparently having gender critical views has protected status under the equality act: e.g. Islam and gender etc.
