What an awful interview from Lampard. He made himself look to be a very bad loser. So what if they dominated the first 15 minutes, the game is 90 minutes long. Ergo, we dominated for 75 minutes.

His days at Everton are numbered.

Indeed they caused us problems in the opening 15 minutes with their pressing and intensity but I recall turning to a learned gentleman and opining that Everton will not be able to keep it up and so it proved.Overall Everton were a disappointment.

Lampard is an embarrassment as were some of Everton's players. Richarlison really is the epitomy of the overpaid, prima donna, modern day player. I really cant stand the sight of him.
Yes, it wasnt nice to watch up to the point Andros got injurd (hope it isnt as bad as it looked), but from then on we were fantastic.
The only downside for me was when the 4th goal went in, as I had a bet on 3-0!!

So did I but I bottled it and cashed out. Cashed out 3-1 as well.
Just had a feeling it wasn't over

As I suspected in my previous post (predictions) Everton would be too tired and weak for this match. That's why they came out all guns blazing for the first 15 minutes - they knew that they wouldn't be able to keep the pace for 90. Great win!

Lampard had nothing good to say about Palace win. Hope they go down now and we dodged a bullet with him. As far as I can see Everton have played MUCH worse since he came along.

Frank talks about a fluke goal. I talk about a 20 year old who is bamboozling football with his extraordinary skills. That Olise curling shot that we all thought had gone well wide had so much spin on it that it curled back in like a boomerang and hit the post. The England keeper had left it and Wilf made no mistake with the follow in.
That was no fluke. That was the future. Anybody who can do that with a ball is going to go big places. In this case Wembley.

Other than Everton’s vibrant first 15 minutes, we tore at them with a superb display of skills. Some of our unexpected inter passing was awesome Constantly and comprehensively beating them.
Then our goals. A superb corner from Olise that was begging to be bulleted home. Guehi rose majestically to power it into the back of the net reminiscent of Virgil header against us.
Then came Matetas sublime low shot following some slick passing. The Olise boomerang. Then Gallagher smashing a winning volley that the England keeper could only get a hand to presenting the ball to our substitute Hughes to gratefully round off a 15 minute display that was the nail in the coffin for a destroyed Everton team.
All 4 goals were comparable to some Lampard specials through his illustrious career as a player. As a manager things are not looking so bright tonight.

Although it did not quite come off Olise attempted pass down the line to i think Clyne where he dragged the ball back and flicked it on was an outrageous piece of talent. Southgate should be pulling out all the stop's to get him in the England set up as in my mind he will be an international star over the next season or two.

Very apposite you say that because I felt the spirit of Shane Warne was amongst us during that shot. Should it be called the 'Olise Flipper'?

I have been late to the table and just listened to FL's interview. That was shocking and offensive to his 'colleagues', the other EPL managers (not least to PV who he drooled over as his idol before the match).

I could give him some slack and say he was bitter because he was angry and crestfallen after his miserable excuse for a team just got thrashed. In which case he is not mentally capable of having a managerial job, certainly not in the top league.

Totally. To think at one stage I thought he would be a good fit for the Palace managers job ! Bullet dodged "Palace didnt have to be that good / they got a free pass to the semi final" He looks clueless and out of his depth. Dead man walking.

Must admit I'm not sure whey Frank is copping so much hate. He just looks like a manager who is thoroughly pissed off with his players.

If we are honest we didn't play brilliantly, and had some luck in a couple of the goals.

I don't read it as him being critical of us, more that he's properly hacked off that we won 4 nil without really getting out of first gear.

Lampard took over a struggling team 16th in the table and during his time they have won 2 out of 7 PL games, both at Home.
They are bottom of the table in terms of Away results, their only away win being 2-0 at Brighton when Benitez was in charge.
