Not a chance he ain’t the Flash.

I haven't be this annoyed at officials in a long time. It wasn't just the referee, the linesman made errors and even VAR with time on their hands made errors. I thought the gamesmanship for penalties would go with VAR but it seems to be getting worse with players constantly engineering contact. I mean, if a player leaves the ball behind and runs into an opposing player how is that a foul? It is complete madness. If Wilf had done that it wouldn't have been a penalty and Friend would have booked him.

Liverpool deserved their lead at half-time, but we deserved a draw by full-time. A brave fight by the lads and Vieira.

One of the worst referee displays I have seen in ages. Clearly biased all throughout the game and to give that penalty is utterly disgraceful.

Anyone know who we write to to make a complaint about that performance. The quality of refereeing is ruining football, or it is so biased that the game is rigged? Surely not!!!

Your right it’s slowly killing the game. It’s getting to a stage now when you must question everything.

Jota literally changes direction to run into Vicente. This is stupid beyond belief.

It's become his signature move. I think this, iirc, is about the third time this year he's used it to draw a pk. You'd think we'd learn by now. The tw*t.

It does beg the question doesn't it? Th3 big talking point today was how Liverpool must win today to keep the pressure on Man City.

With out those VAR decisions it would have been 1-1.

Why do we have to wait until the second half to start playing?

Liverpool keeper made two amazing saves and the penalty was a bad decision as will be proved later on MOTD2.

I thought Schlupp had an excellent game, closely followed by Olise.
Mateta deserved praise for passing to Edouard for our goal but Schlupp made it.

Just a little more composure in midfield needed, pity Eriksen and Ramsey are spoken for!

We must take it out on Hartlepool and Norwich to get our mojo back.

We need to hold referee's to account - they need to be interviewed post game, they need to be involved in the match discussions, they don't deserve to be protected so much.. if they make a mistake, call them out, just like any player is... they need to explain themselves...

My Liverpool mate even said it was never a pen, that's rare... to the casual observer it just looks like VAR protecting Liverpools interests.

Jota wasn't in control of the ball when he collided with our keeper. I have given up on the rules but I don't think it was a penalty.
