Devastating how we went in 3-0 down at half time but a great performance from us overall. Enjoyably to watch again as it now usually is.

Not a criticism of Olise as he’s brilliant to watch and will go a long way, but does he have the ability to do a trick and go past a player? The first touch to go pay Masuaku was class but when running at a player I’m not sure I’ve seen him do it. It might just be confidence, but I’m sure he as it in his locker the type of player he is.

Never happy after a defeat but i kind of am because of our performance. What it did show up though was our defensive shortcomings again. We dominated every stat against a very good W Ham team but it has to be said 'come in Luka your time is up'

Olise on the right, Ayew left, Edouard up top, Hughes, Eze and Gallagher in the middle we really don’t need a lack lustre Wilf.

A lot off positives to be taken from that match.

Agree with you there coops , should have started with the line up we finished with so much more energy up front when Benteke is not playing, and more in midfeild when Luka is not .

Proud of the team. A pleasure to watch the players, not the referee.

1) Still don't understand Luka's role as captain.
2) We played more fluidly without Wilf.
3) Hope Olise learns to defend quickly. On the ball, he's scary good.
4) Edouard creates more good chances for himself and his teammates than Benteke.
5) If Mateta's overhead had been on target, the man would officially be a Palace legend.
6) If Wilf had played today, would we have had as many good chances? Would we have scored 3? My gut says no.

Love the spirit of the players and their manager.

If I was a coach I’d ask Anderson to be more aggressive and focused on crosses. He needs to be more angry or hungry to win the ball.
There’s a lacklustre trait in him with crosses that needs sharpening.

Over to the coaches.

Bizarre game and sloppiness at both ends cost us dearly.

I think we have been very hard done by having to play our 3 games over Xmas when most teams have had long breaks ,but only time will tell how it will play out in the end,

I am far from convinced with our current centre back pairing. I’d rather see Tomkins play instead of one of them.

Ayew was the best player on the pitch once again.

Iv no idea what is going on with Eze but if he doesn’t play against Millwall something is not right.

Luka is shocking, thank god he is only the last option for us these days.

Like everyone has said, a really great game…spoilt by bad refereeing and the West Ham post, which was determined not to let us score more goals.

Can’t understand those people that leave the match early. Today they missed a real treat and we almost pulled off an incredible draw.

Lots to feel positive about…..COYP

I've got my doubts about Andersen. On his CV is probably written "defender" but I think he may make a decent defensive midfielder thanks to his ball distribution. Perhaps I'm old fashioned, but I think of centre halves being in the mold of Jim Cannon or Eric Young. Time will tell I guess.

a very good performance today without any luck, 100% effort by most players, Wilf, Luka and Benteke need to be offloaded in the transfer window, 30m for the lot and bring a couple of new 100% Players, Benteke and Luka are awful, 20m for Wilf, and 5m each for luka and Benkeke

I agree with you and I understand that defenders need to be decent on the ball these days but I think we pair one of Andersen and Guehi with Tomkins as he is a better defender.
