highly likely we will put the nail in the watford coffin, saturday but more interesting , will we do it to Everton on the 19th?
Burnley deserve to stay up on recent battling form & everton have had this coming for a decade.

True - he has tried his best and away from home hasn’t been bad but unfortunately the home form has been disastrous so he isn’t exactly flavour of the month with the fans !

Since Deaney left I no longer hate Watford so its unfortunate that you will probably go down. Plenty of other clubs I would rather see relegated than Watford.

One more point

Indeed, I've never felt nor understood a hatred for Watford. Sure, they kicked their way to a couple of results against us, but they are hardly alone in that respect; furthermore the anger should be directed at the stupid officials who fail to deal with it.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Roy gave this club stability and ensured we stayed in the premiership. For that we will always be grateful. I have great respect for the man. Taking the Watford job was in my opinion a huge error of judgment. He left Palace with his head held high, but I’m sure Watford fans will be delighted when he has gone. His famed organisational skills have not had the same effect at Watford.

He looked awful yesterday. I assume he was unwell, could hardly walk and didn’t look himself. Next’s weeks game could be a high scoring match. I will still show my respect to Roy, but if anything….this should reconfirm the need for him to retire and stay retired!!

He was - didn’t do any press conferences or stand up at all during the game .

Probably felt he had to be there to add support

It was mainly this comment to which I was reacting:

they will be busy booing our own !

I find that very sad.

Bit tongue in cheek but there is a lot of negativity around atm aimed at a lot of people at the club .

Players and probably more so board and manager.

By Watford standards I mean and it’s not quite as toxic at games as it is online - probably the same for a lot of clubs though.

In reality this squad isn't good enough and the record at home particularly proves that.

TBH The last relegation was probably more disappointing and avoidable but this one seems to have brought out more anger.

Maybe because fans are at games and the far more serious issue of COVID isn't around so much now compared to in 2020.

We didn't invest well in the summer and paid the price.

THe commentator did say on MOTD that Roy had been quite ill during last week which may explain his lack of energy.

I think some of it is due to them Lording over us during the 2nd leg of 2006 play offs. They acted a bit like Clownton that day.

Eye infection hence the sun glasses.

Least he turned up - some of our players would be not seen for weeks if they got that .
