So Marcus rashford and Jesse lingard are apologising for a photo they had with wiley ( I know but apparently he's a rapper banned from twitter for antisemitic rants). In so apologising they also state how they are against any discrimination.

For the life of me, please can someone explain what is remotely offensive about the Middlesex chairman's comments, unless he is being censured for using 'Afro' instead of 'African'? The is probably why it is just labelled 'painful'. Soon it will dwindle to 'uncomfortable', then 'disappointing' to finally 'what the f*** can we find to complain about in his statement'?

Observing trends in other races, no matter how inoffensive or useful it might be, will be called stereotyping and is therefore racist.

I personally don't think it's a big deal but certainly ill advised and I suspect that the story will be quietly dropped. However if it was somebody the left hate such as Trump or Laurence Fox etc. I doubt you would hear the end of it.

If that had been Trump it would be ongoing for a long time. Double standards to the maximum.
