What a bunch of wallys. You miserable bunch of so called supporters I mean not the players. You’re just sitting there waiting to post something negative and love it when you get the chance. Yes it’s disappointing. How many of you believed that we really had a chance of coming 4th like someone posted recently. We are a work in progress and have over achieved to date. Now the confidence has gone we need to get it back quickly though berating the players will achieve nothing. It’s time some of you grew up. I’ve been supporting the team for over 50 years and for the first time in a long time I feel that we have a real chance of building something special as long as we can hold onto Vieira. Negativity will bring the walls tumbling down and we will be in a right jam if that happens.

I still believe he’s a hit and hoper ‘in the general direction’ and sometimes he will score but very often he gets found out with unbelievable misses. I am so fed up with Benteke,he just is not reliable,why did we not play Édouard as centre forward,and Wilf on the wing from the start,We just look so much better when we have a mobile centre forward with wingers,Benteke is such a lazy hit and miss player!!

We are missing Macarthur and feel Hughes needs a chance now from the start to show what he can do. Schlupp had brief moments but the game passed him by. Gallagher looks tired because he is having to cover more ground now Jimmy is out. Benteke misses another chance that was easier to score. Sadly Edouard did not really step up tonight either. No need to panic as squad depth is there and the change in style is still bedding in. Also teams now more aware of our new style so need to know how to adjust things when teams work us out. Both Villa and Leeds controlled the game and we were left to moments rather than being on the front foot. Will take this season to settle in, and certainly not worried about going down, but I think our good run maybe set our sights a little high..
Some people are like Slinkies … not really good for anything, but you can’t help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs. |

We’re in a real struggle now it’s gonna be a long struggle on the evidence I’ve seen we have so many problems that were being masked by a few wins I don’t wanna hear about if benteke scores with the header we would of won because he doesn’t score regularly we shouldn’t be relying and bringing him on innseearch of the win because of that and what he does the performances have not been good enough at all specially from set plays i don’t want to sound too negative but there’s no real pleasure in tonight Burnley away Newcastle at home Brighton at home arsenal away there’s been more negatives then positives but hey ho this is palace

On way home. Gutted. Didn’t deserve to lose. Should have been 2-0 up. We couldn’t see the handball but from the radio sounds like it was harsh.
