i wouldn't hold up the BBS as some kind of virtuous paradise, Midlands Inevitably, most of the BBS 'charged' threads veer from the topic and descend into extreme personal abuse. In any Case, Emma would be old enough to be a grandmother on many of the estates I have previously lived in. And hopefully both HOL protagonists are now engaged on the school run. It's not though rare at all. It is par for the course here, especially in the News and Politics thread. In this case, I find it quite sad that grown men, many of whom will have daughters and granddaughters of Emma's age, think it's OK to make the kind of remarks they do in this thread. It doesn't really have as much to do with her age, as their state of mind. It just goes to prove that a small bunch of regressive old dinosaurs hang about these pages. I suppose that's better than in the local parks.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

When it's been analysed as to what age both sexes find their opposites most attractive it is far from equal.....which must be disheartening for the egalitarians among us. However, it's nature for males to find young woman attractive due to obvious advantages in child birth and health compared to older women. So 20 is essentially that most attractive age, regardless of how old the chap is. This is research spread over a general collection of males, not some survey carried out with perverts.
So the result there is that Women, tend to find men of a similar age to them most attractive as they get older with the status requirement sometimes pushing that up. These are all general truths, it doesn't mean that everyone is going to be the same. Personally I'm a social conservative so I recognise that attractive younger women receive a lot of sexual pressure to go along with the benefits they receive say over similarly aged males. It's nature but it also does need some policing because they are more vulnerable than males. However, this doesn't extend to the unrealistic idea that heterosexual males shouldn't find them attractive, especially post 18. I'd also agree, that while nature will still act the same way it gets increasingly cringe for males to lust after women young enough to be their daughters......it may be natural but in action it's definitely better suppressed than expressed...but perhaps on a forum we can be a little more relaxed if it's jokey. In the same way that the 'Carry on' films are actually funny....especially when compared to today's po faced stuff. Seeing the once sexually liberated left (the only place where real actual peado support exists) now act like the religious right does show you how upside down social movements can become. Well, this is a quality thread. I did watch the match and I cheered her on. I don't even like tennis that much, but an amazing achievement like that was worthy of my time. DanH is on some sort of puritanical mission, like some sort of modern day Witch Finder General. Raducanu is an adult, so it's not a crime to fancy her. If you are over 35 though, I'd keep it to yourself.

Now it's like common sense is some kind of super power.

The trouble with common sense is that it’s not very common !

Edited by Stirlingsays (13 Sep 2021 11.36am) To provide a bit of balance....... Let's not overlook the fact that in most cases where the almost traditional Hol 'Would' occurs, the woman concerned almost certainly wouldn't touch any of the posters with the proverbial 10' barge pole. A bit of fantasy never really did any harm, as long as it just stays as that. Now about Mitchell's bum.........
