Fiasco aside, here's a handy hint.

I have tickets for my pal and his two kids in my 'wallet'. He can't get them.

Because I couldn't share them with him, I took a screen shot of each QR code and sent them to him on WhatsApp.

The readers on the turnstile were able to read his QR codes and he got in without issue.

It was harder for me (but not dramatically so) because I tried to access our QR codes through Google pay and I'd forgotten how terrible Internet connection can be.

This weekend, I'll ensure all tickets are available in a way that doesn't need Internet connection. So I'll grab them and save them as images some place.

Handy hint maybe.
But it's crazy that you are forced to go through all that rigmarole just to give someone their tickets.

When idiots from Brighton call us an 'Amateur' Club I do agree with them to an extent.

Here we are 3 days before our second home game still waiting to hear what is happening with our season tickets.

I emailed the ticket office 4 weeks ago asking for them to clarify some points... It took them 15 days to reply... FIFTEEN Days!!.. They just apologised and said they had 'been busy'...

I'm a ST holder and a Gold member. I signed my 7 year old son up to the Junior Gold Membership where he can get a shirt as part of joining. He chose a home shirt.

We still haven't received it. The club have stated they have 'supply issues' regarding the Home shirts and can't give a date when they will be sent out.

It really does seem to be getting worse and worse regarding the organisation of our club... For an established Premier League Club I think it's a disgrace at how Amateur things seem to be when it comes to organisation and that personal touch

The chaos with the season tickets is disgraceful, it seems they have our cash, and now we can like it or lump it.
And the thing with the shirts is pathetic, the season will be half over before they appear, and a lot of fans won't bother.
What a way to run a business.

I mean its annoying but will be a good system when up and running.
A lot of ageism here. Just because someone is old it doesn't mean they cant work a phone.

Whilst I am quite computer literate, what is this 'wallet' thing people are talking about ? The only wallet I've got is my leather one where I've kept my season ticket card for donkies years.

For the Brentford game I just took a snapshot of my downloaded ticket, searched through my phone to find where it was stored whilst queuing up, and then stuck that under the turnstile reader.

I don't believe the club when they say it's a Premier League directive, as although I haven't checked, I'm sure not all PL clubs are doing it. (Happy to be proved wrong).

All in all, it's just another pain in the ar5e that I'm considering not bothering with next season.

CPFC has said two things.
One, it's been recommended by the PL.
Two, it's required by the PL.
CPFC said these two different and inconsistent things in the statement. So which is it?
And if it's required, why are other PL clubs not doing it?
This is a total shambles. And now we can't trust CPFC on anything it says. It has spaffed our loyalty up the wall, as the notorious chancer BJ might have said.

CPFC have tweeted: Season ticket holders: do you have a ticket for the Spurs game in your fan wallet on the Palace App yet? #cpfc

So I went to the Palace and found I had to set up a new password. Finally managed to do, accessed the Palace App and all I could find was a record of my season ticket.
I could not find a "fan wallet" anywhere and have no idea what or where that is.
Can anyone enlighten me?

I take it that concourse purchases no longer get you Parish Points.

So I have just checked on the Palace App, in the wallet is a season ticket, with a link, save to google pay(my phone is an android not an IPhone) and it’s now in my google pay wallet with a code for the Spurs game.

I haven't got a Google pay wallet (I have an android phone). There's no way I'm putting my bank details on a phone if that's what you do.

Yep. That's where I found it after a lot of searching. I went to the 'more' at the bottom of my screen on the right and then to tickets etc.

My Spurs ticket isn't there yet either and as I'm not on Twitter I haven't heard a dicky bird from the club
