I believe they play very different roles so it's not (IMO) a question of 'either/or' but rather 'both' in their respective roles

According to transfer market Hughes plays anywhere across midfield and Olise plays middle of midfield and right midfield plus a bit further forward. Still we will see what P.V. decides in due course,probably something completely different.

Did I do that? I was agreeing that Hughes is underestimated on here, Olise was not mentioned

I just wish the club would get this done, and a couple more as well.
Hughes, is good enough for what we need, and young enough to give us a few years service yet. It’s just as well he is decent as it’s doubtful we have the money for higher grade. But beyond that our squad needs two or three more, and the clocks ticking down.

10m is too much he only has 1 year left on contract that would be poor business and show we are desperate.

Might as well say no and hold of until jan offer around 5m if they say no see if we can sign him for next seasons on a free.

He is not a player that is that good you cant afford to miss out on him so must rush to get him.

We need other players especially people that can put balls in the box.

I'd like to see Hughes – and others – added, and soon. But we need to recognize that, with our modest resources and/or stingy owners it will always be a challenge to land our first, second, or even third favorite choices. PV is beginning to see the reality of this, but so far we've actually done well to have improved both midfield and the defense.
