[Link] Several people here considering killing themselves due to the collapse of Terra Luna. No doubt more speculative cryptocurrency than most, but good reason to pause for thought and only invest in anything what you can afford to lose! Sobering stuff..

Good time to buy, don't you know Sub 20k. I'd like to say the party is over but I somehow doubt it. Bigger Fool theory is just part of human nature. Might even be worth lobbing a grand in once it inevitably recovers to make some money of the FOMO fools.

This is why people that parrot on about regulation being a terrible idea for this space are complete idiots. Yes it's not perfect but this is why things are regulated. Yes the big boys will exploit it but ultimately the best worst system always wins out. And an unregulated free for all based on something that has no worth or commercial use is not a safe space. Just because gary from Plymouth got lucky and made a million, and is now trying to sucker you in to his social channels with promises of easy wealth so he can build his next, doesn't make it legit. It never ceases to amaze me how susceptible the human brain is to such unoriginal and blindingly obvious dross peddling.

Some people who invest in crypto do so because they think the regulated markets are a ponzi scheme. The problem with that is the the Financial Times (I think) believes that Bitcoin is controlled by about 10 investors. So you have a choice invest in a market which is rigged but regulated or invest in a rigged wild west free for all.

It's very easy to criticise people but this is their money not yours and if they want to gamble with their money what's the beef?

If people want to speculate that of course is their choice. I do object though to a number of posters on here over the years promoting cryto currencies, that I think is irresponsible.
