It seems to me that a lot of the same people arguing for Greta and 'green energy' are the same kind of people arguing for open borders. There's a kind of cognitive dissonance which comes from thinking that climate change can be successfully reduced in any way whilst also having 8 or 9 billion people living American/European level lifestyles. Yet population reduction never seems to be on their menu. Some of us might start to think that there is an agenda here.... Edited by Stirlingsays (28 Sep 2019 7.55am)

That the BBC article wasn't being honest about this girl's background. You spoke about manipulation yet you were happy to be persuaded by a soft focus piece that wasn't objective.

Her parents and she wore an anti fascist t shirt once. It’s a recent photo, maybe it was she that persuaded them to wear the shirts. Should they be pro fascist or neutral then? Does that affect whether the weather is changing? I worry for the wethers. How does that change what she said in her interview. It must be tough to be so untrusting.
