Freedman & Co must surely be doing all they can to bring in a proper RB. We can not survive with only Ward & Kelly to take over from AWB - pretty sure someone will be signed before international window close.
If not we are in deep trouble!

you can't sign players anymore. you can sign free agents, but those don't have to be 'international'. we can't bring in a RB from Italy or Greece, for example, if it's for a fee.

If Freedman has anything to do with scouting or recruitment after this window he needs sacking , by the way apart from getting paid what else does he do

Balotelli, Sturridge, Berahino, Llorente and Markovic still all available, and Danny Simpson RB, who do you fancy we will get

I think Balo is going to Brazil. Llorente is a good shout, but MU want him too, he would be a great little (big) backup for them now Lukaku is gone for when they need to shower crosses in. Markovic is a dead rubber, so is Berahino. Sturridge is an injury gamble and a massive paycheck, but at least he'd bring some class.

with our plethora of central midfields could Kouyate be used in the right back role?

The harping on about about RB is baffling, we have Ward and Kelly who can play there, but at LB we only have PVA who doesn’t like defending and maybe Schlupp at a push.
The striker role will be covered by Ayew, Benteke, Wickham and Zaha not ideal, I agree.
If you compare this window to the Sorloth, Jach and Rakip fiasco it’s not so bad. As we are balancing the books to sell.

Surely no one on this planet truly believes that Ward / Kelly are good enough to play In the Premiership at Right-Back! I am astonished.

Right back is now our weakest position, we could always play Wilf and Townsend at a Push, Ward/Kelly are not up to it, every team will target that

We now have an abundance of centre backs .......9 in total, that are either specialist centre backs or cover...
Dann,Kelly,Reidewald,Sakho,Tomkins,Woods,Cahill, Kouyate and even Ward
Why have we ended up with so many in that position? The same has happened in the centre of midfield ....yet light elsewhere
Just seems a very unbalanced squad....

It's 5 really, you've over egged it by putting youngsters and players that can fill in there.

I'd say 7 - Dann, Kelly, Sakho, Tomkins, Cahill, Woods and Inniss - but only the first five are likely to get any significant game time.

Time for Innis to move on he is just wasting his career away at Palace he would get regular football at a League 1 or 2 club.
