Yep, but he could improve like Sterling if he gets into a top 6 side but would need work on his finishing. However he would be a good supplier in say a team like the Arse where they have no winger of his ability. Infact that team is crying out for some width. Could easily follow another legend Wrighty.

He is 26 years old, he could bother to improve himself here, as he is paid £130k a week. That is why he wont be going to a top 6 side.

Trivia
This must be a record but there wasnt a free kick in the first 20 minutes.
I thought the refs whistle had lost its pea.

Finally playing with some confidence going forward now that we have a goal. Imagine if we started games quickly and maybe scored early...

Batshuayi could easily have done that today, obviously caught the bug.

That was one of the least enjoyable games I have seen Palace play when we have actually won the game.

The first half was awful and as the 2nd half progressed I was convinced Huddersfield would nick a goal and see us slump to another home defeat. It wasn't until PvA buried the second goal that I was able to relax and enjoy it ( all of 6 minutes).

Could very, very easily been on the losing side today. With the squad we have we should not be struggling at home to the 2nd worst team in premier league history. Please let that fact sink in before the usual “never happy with a win” brigade start piping up.

We should have coasted today but looked 2nd best for much of it. Sick of Roy’s poor tactical choices and general lack of passion meaning home matches are a chore rather than a choice nowadays. Really hope Sheffield Utd don’t get promoted as I think Wilder would be a great choice for next manager.

Be happy! My mate is a Wolves fan. As he said today had it not been for Wolves, Huddersfield would be on EUGHT points!

Always remembering walking from the Holmesdale to the Whitehorse end at half time!

Totally agree. It is becoming so joyless to watch us play at home.

The frustration and nervousness the players are feeling is so apparent you can cut it with a knife.

Its like how England played under Hodgson. Look at them now, free to express themselves, totally unshackled.

I dont know what Roy is saying to them, on how he is telling them to set up at Selhurst but if he hasnt worked out its not working too well by now, there is no hope for him.

We are playing football only for about 45 mins per game. We absolutely piss away the first half usually with utter dross and crap.

We finally start to create some chances second half and the lack of ability to hit the target at home this year cannot just be a coincidence. 3 shots on target at Man City and we win 3-2.

Andros and Zaha today not hitting the target was criminal, and for my money if its away from home one of them goes in.

So its mental, and what the hell is the manager doing about it because mental issues are on him.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Didn't want to post straight after the game. However I still feel today's game was one of the worst I have seen of us. It looked as though the players thought they could just turn up and beat them, and such a slack attitude produced that dire performance.
PVA was MOTM on BBC sport- what game were they watching? He couldn't pass, sloppy back pass should have cost us a goal. He's been dreadful for quite a while now. His goal masked a poor performance. Why we try to play tika taka when we all know we like to play direct and fast, the defence cannot play the ball out and it looked so slow and pedestrian.
Michy was offside about 1000 times, it's so lazy for a striker to not look at the line. Missing all those 1 on 1 chances as well.
We got out of jail today big time, and I hope Roy learns from this.

Sore head following last night. Red and blue! Not sure if I was celebrating or commiserating. Great result really takes the pressure off us. Selhurst football was its usual. First half was worse than dire. Then second half started playing a bit. Just couldn’t find the net. So frustrating.
Then the ref had a very very easy penalty decision. So nervous but Luka brought it home. Then PVA did what no one else could do. Buried it.!! Yessssss. Get in. But still no relief. A third would have been nice. Couldn’t believe it when the ref blew for time. What a relief. I was exhausted.
So much tension in the Arfur.
Should be safe now. I reckon 3 more from 7 will do it. Safe no? So much to sort out as usual.
An afternoon watching the Palace.
Is it like this for all football fans?

If you watch him, he stands offside all the time. Bizarre really.
