I don't agree. I would favour a move away from South Norwood because I no longer live near there. The club would be best served by creating easy access to the most possible fans. we've looked at alternative sites and in particular CP Park - these are dead. It's Selhurst Park or nothing. Last accounts showed we have £81m of liabilities to pay (probably mainly outstanding transfer fees)so we need to be in Prem League just to service this. Funding for new stand will need to be raised elsewhere. The Yanks leaving is not good news in the short term

I don't believe there's some plot of land near the M25 that we could buy and build a huge new stadium. especially not one near to public transport links. just go on Google maps and ask yourself if you can see a viable place. I can't.

Their share is up for sale, and this is the important bit, selling to someone else, and being even tighter with money will only make relegation more likely and devalue their shares. You’ve no idea whether their share up for sale is a good or bad thing. Do you also think that if the Americans didn’t want anything spent now that their investment wouldn’t deteriorate and reduce their share value? Edited by Rudi Hedman (15 Mar 2019 12.53pm)

Fair enough. I'd also love to see us push on and maybe even challenge for a few trophies. Can easily see more layers of the cake opening up around the 14 clubs in the PL in the future. Leicester was a huge shock for the top 6 and they've shut the door even more tightly since then.

Copthorne is the actual land and with the access wouldn’t have been a problem I would have thought .

Rubbish, The over ambition in the past came from people who spent more money than they had. That will not happen at Chelsea or City and it wouldn't happen at Palace with the right owners. I didn't think this was a difficult concept.

If we want to do an MK Dons there's room to develop at the old Manston airport. We could be Ramsgate Palace.
