Consider it a point won not 2 lost. Good fight back. I wonder if Atkinson would have had a second look at Arsenal's second goal if VAR was in operation.

Well done lads for not giving up, thanks Arsenal for gifting us 2 goals, we obviously can't get them ourselves, should have been 3-2. 16 shots 9 more than Arsenal. As soon as we either learn to score or get someone that can we're going to be fine, everything else about our game is excellent, especially when Roy decides to use the bench but atm doesn't matter how many times we get the ball in front of goal we never look like scoring.

Watching that replayed back on sky sports it’s really irked me that no one apart from Ayew saw that handball

I am going to respect the hell out of that point. Ref was not on form, f*cking clearest handball since Maradonna. Meyer needs to start, Ayew needs to be on the bench with Sorloth getting the start. Wan-Bissaka was impessive again... Nice to see Roy making the earlier switch, made a difference today. All in all they looked more up for it then they have for a while, atmo seemed better on the stream. Onwards...

Atkinson blatantly cheated on the handball leading up to arses 2nd goal....guess he will be forensically assessed and demoted to Purley Way pitch 3 next week??? Or maybe not as it was in favour of a big club?

Alan Smith almost ruined it for me with his bias, but overall a great performance. We actually produced the better football at times and gave Arsenal no space. Personally, I think that handball galvanised the team as they sensed there was injustice and took the game to Arsenal. Could have been three points, but pretty amazing just to get one given Arsenal's run. Both Palace penalties stonewall and even Ayew's in the first half could have been given as Mustafi clearly steps across him and clips his leg. If we can reproduce that for the rest of the season we'll be fine.

Good to see Punch out and about, nice sarcastic substitution from Roy in response to the recent criticism there. (It genuinely was nice to see him though, I have a lot of respect for Puncheon, he's just a bit past it these days).
