Some will be positive and some will want to see proof before believing they are good players. That's football, everyone is allowed an opinion. Im absolutely not criticising people who disagree that it’s a good window, I think it potentially is as I think we’ve signed well but you don’t know until they play. I’m criticising the people that find something to moan about whatever we do, specifically in this instance the why do we take so long to announce signings moaning. Absolutely agree that everyone is allowed an opinion but would just like it to be more constructive

Very good window IMO .. clearly we didn't have a huge war chest to work with this time round due to previous spending .. but a German "Messi" a solid midfielder, and the second best GK in the Spanish league, the only thing I think we missed out on is a decent striker on loan or permanent ..

This was a definite window of prudence .. and considering who we got, i think we can say well done to the higher ups ...

I hope this stability lasts and we can push on and not worry about a relegation battle this season. Can't wait for the season to start now All of this - we've had a great window - under £10M spent bought in real quality and we've kept all our major players. We'll surprise people this year - I'm really excited.!! On another subject we haven't heard from Willo recently - clearly there can't be any doom and gloom to report..!! COYP

Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere but did Riedwald go anywhere?

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

I suspect Riedewald will end up on load to Anderlecht by the end of the month. Meanwhile, someone mentioned the one area where we are exposed - CB. Dann is still out for months. We only have Kelly as experienced back-up, although we have a v. good youth player in Woods to "do an AWB"? However, it was while checking injuries that I saw how bad the big clubs are starting. Chelsea have 8 men out, Liverpool 9, Manure 12 and Spurs 16 - SIXTEEN! Did they do special forces selection over the holidays?

As we know, Kouyate can play CB, which is also useful if god forbid we have one CB on the bench and 2 have to leave the field.
