Puma aren't Macron. Their distribution is far, far superior. Macron couldn't even supply stores in NYC with last seasons jerseys although I believe their corporate HQ is only a few miles away in Connecticut. Puma shouldn't have that problem.

Coming to a Modell's near us? Perhaps even Dick"s?

Prefer a classic design like the Barcelona kit. Our new kit is too fussy. Too many design features .lLike Newcastles’s shirts where they always manage to keep the tradiional design but with a few changes here and there. Football is not part of the fashion industry.

But fashion IS part of the football industry. Expect to see a lot more Palace training/casual wear on the streets simply because the yoof 'get' Puma & Puma themselves are very much in the street wear arena these days.

Be interesting to see if they stock our stuff in the Puma 'lifestyle' store round the corner from our offices in town - if only to take some space from all the Arsenal s***e in the window.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

Very interesting comment. I didn’f Know about the “yoof” scene. All my grandchildren are grown up. I suppose there could be a conflict as to what is right for the football field as opposed to the highstreet.
I just think that sometimes it’s s case of over designing.
Anyhow I take your point particularly about the brand.

Why give money to them? They make enough. Upper 90 will sell it & they have a branch in Astoria/Long Island City. Local company with four stores Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens & Long Island

Was thinking the same thing ... wonder if it’s the year we expand into high street stores, not just the Palace Shop

Didn't we used to have a policy of only selling kit through the club shop? I don't know if that is still in place. It would be nice if we could get back to a place where there's a club shop in Croydon again

As a Celtic supporter as well I don't want to suggest this but given the return of the sash and the advert that goes with it, can we sing.
It was red n blue and beautiful
And worn in days of yore
By Sansom, Hilarie and Jim Canon
The sash the Palace wore

It might even make Jimmy Mac not want to go to Rangers, although looking at rangers last season should cover that

One supporter of hacking argued that without it "you will do away with the courage and pluck of the game, and I will be bound to bring over a lot of Frenchmen who would beat you with a week's practice -Blackheath secretary at first meeting of the F.A
