Works well for us - that's a sickener for Stoke, and given that West Ham still have to face City, Utd and Arsenal, we have a decent chance of finishing above them too.

Yep, like Soton a real kick in the nads for them. Next game for the Spammers, away to the Arse on Sunday, tough even though they may have eyes on the Europa League. Good chance to be above them by then. Stoke home to Burnley on same day, enough toughy.

The game was so dull I switched off at half time.

Dispite the great result at the weekend and our favorable fixtures we still need to be careful because some teams have nothing to play for whilst overs will be playing like their lives depend on it.

Manchester City may just be looking to stay injury free.
Man U and Liverpool might have a tussle for 2nd but Europe seems to be Liverpool’s priority.
Realistically Chelsea only have the FA cup to play for.
Arsenal have given up in the league.
Leicester, Everton and Bournemouth have nothing to play for.
Watford probably want revenge for what we did to them at Selhurst.
All the other teams are in a relegation scrap.

If we draw with West Brom and beat Stoke neither of them can catch us. So we are finally in control of our own destiny.

The bookies are turning against us! Our odds to be relegated have shortened to 20-1, down from 25-1 after the weed game.

Christ. More cheering on here for an Andy Carroll goal than an f***ing Wilf one. Have we come to this?

Oh well. Stoke are probably goosed now.

The roof nearly blew off the Clifton when Chelski got their third on Saturday- struggling to remember so many Palace fans celebrating a them scoring.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

It's been a good couple of days for us in terms of points gained and others dropping points.
And if Tottenham beat Brighton tomorrow all the better !
But next week it could go against us so perhaps our fortunes will fluctuate from week to week.

Could do as is the nature of the league but we could beat Watford and almost make ourselves safe.

honestly, i am only focusing on 3 underneath us - until i know that is done and dusted then i will think about others.
We get 3 points against Watford and i would be so much happier - job almost done. Stoke need two wins and a draw to over take us, providing we get 0 from next 4 games.
We only need to get one more point than whatever hudds get to over take them, so i like our chances.
Regarding Brighton and West ham, they have games in hand, but look at who they have.

Honestly, Stoke bringing in Lambert was a terrible choice.

3 more points should safely do it.

Well, despite the fact we are currently behind all three of these clubs, I am way happier with our prospects than any of their fans should be of theirs.

West Ham
Arsenal
Man City
Leic
Man Utd
Everton

H'Field
Everton
Man City
Chelsea
Arsenal

Brighton
Spurs
Burnley
Man Utd
Man City
Liverpool

Together with the fact Saints still have to play Swansea, I think these fixtures should give S'ton some hope that they can still stay up. Not that I really care.
