Wilf is too deep in this system, he should be playing off the striker be it Benteke or Sako as his days as a defensive winger are rightly over. It's as if we've sacrificed a place for by far our best player in a role with more freedom to accommodate 2 strikers that are both essentially target men. Coming back to the point of short term hysteria, Sako is a useful squad player. He's erratic and can score goals. But he really is nowhere near of the quality he's been made out to be in recent weeks.

Well at least we finished the half looking like we had some life in the team but much too late now. We could really do with Everton pulling something back against West Brom now.

Roy needs to try to sort it out for the 2nd half. Hopefully we can cut the goal difference. Let's hope Everton can pull a goal back and the Spammers and Stoke games end in draws. COYP !!

We have totally lost this game in the midfield. Not sure why but Cabaye, Mc and Luka look totally out of sorts today and Fosu-Mensa is being ripped apart at full back. A lot of what appear to be disinterested players. I just don't get it how we can go from playing so well to so poor in a short space of time, but I think we just have to put this down to a blip. Hopefully Roy will re-organise at half time and we see a better 2nd half. As some have already said, it emphasises the need to get some new players into the club.
