Making it cheaper to buy. The MtGox manipulation (that's the only word to use tbh) that we've seen lately re- Bitcoin dumping, has been proven to be the reason for the many drops we've witnessed for the past few months....... [Tweet Link]
Onwards and upwards. Litecoin rallied today and are currently up with most other currencies continuing to fall. What do you know TUX that others don't.. lol

The media hype re-Bitcoin that led to the huge rise leading up to Christmas attracted many new investors. The Bitcoin 'futures' then came into play in late December and the market got slammed. The MtGox manipulations over the past few months along with a continually negative media (to be expected) have also added to the FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt) and many of these new investors have quit (they jumped in for a quick profit, not an investment into the technology). IMO.

Already announced by Facebook, Google have also decided to ban any online advertisements for Bitcoin/cryptos. What are they worried about?

IMO. Trouble is TUX, blockchain technology is out there and available to everyone. Litecoin, Bitecoin or any other of the 150 or so other Cryptocurrencies do not have this stuff patented. Anyone can use it. As previously discussed, there aren't any actually real world applications for these currencies, hence why Google and Facebook will not deal with them. Try doing your weekly shop at Tesco's and offering to pay in Litecoin! Litecoin already lost another 5% from what it was this time yesterday. Bitecoin also. Its a race to the bottom mate as people realise its worthless. Get out now mate whilst its still worth something. I sold the last of mine a month ago when I saw it coming.
