Making it cheaper to buy.
Happy days.

The MtGox manipulation (that's the only word to use tbh) that we've seen lately re- Bitcoin dumping, has been proven to be the reason for the many drops we've witnessed for the past few months.......

Onwards and upwards.

Litecoin rallied today and are currently up with most other currencies continuing to fall. What do you know TUX that others don't.. lol

I look and learn bud. About life in general.
I see the way that WE (that includes you) are being continually robbed by the privately owned central banking system and appreciate the efforts of those better than me that seek a solution to this problem.
You, along with many others, don't take the time to look at what is staring you in the face.
As i've stated previously, think of cryptos/blockchain as the internet of the early 90's. Some caught on and some didn't.

Where are we now?

Buy Litecoin.

Tbh i never look at/consider it bud as it's the 'banksters' coin. They can drive the price up or sell it off as and when it suits them.
It may do well and i'll be happy for anyone who gains from it but it's not for me.

I ignore it tbh as the prices are still well above where they were 4months ago.

The media hype re-Bitcoin that led to the huge rise leading up to Christmas attracted many new investors. The Bitcoin 'futures' then came into play in late December and the market got slammed. The MtGox manipulations over the past few months along with a continually negative media (to be expected) have also added to the FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt) and many of these new investors have quit (they jumped in for a quick profit, not an investment into the technology).
This time last year Bitcoin and Litecoin (as examples) were around $1000 and $4 respectively. This time in November they were around $5000 and $50. Today they are $9000 and $170 and this is despite the December spike and the subsequent slam. They've consolidated their prices way above the previous levels. This is a good sign.
This year will be huge as the technology is adopted by many more countries/companies.

IMO.

Already announced by Facebook, Google have also decided to ban any online advertisements for Bitcoin/cryptos.

What are they worried about?

Trouble is TUX, blockchain technology is out there and available to everyone. Litecoin, Bitecoin or any other of the 150 or so other Cryptocurrencies do not have this stuff patented. Anyone can use it.

As previously discussed, there aren't any actually real world applications for these currencies, hence why Google and Facebook will not deal with them.

Try doing your weekly shop at Tesco's and offering to pay in Litecoin!

Litecoin already lost another 5% from what it was this time yesterday. Bitecoin also.

Its a race to the bottom mate as people realise its worthless.

Get out now mate whilst its still worth something.

I sold the last of mine a month ago when I saw it coming.

Again, it's par for the course given recent events (the Mt Gox manipulation, Google/Twitter bans on advertising etc).
As predicted earlier in the thread, it looks like we may now be in position for the next rise.

Have been rising for last few days with some huge gains today.

Incredibly volatile market TUX. Be interesting to see what happens over the next few weeks mate.
