First half we were the better side but second half we were poor. Hitnand hope football, it's useless. We've shown we can play so we should bring it down and try and play. Hoofing it to benteke constantly is not only hopeful, it's just so predictable. Shooting on sight. I respect the point but it's so frustrating to watch when we have players who are technically good just playing aimlessly.

Can't remember the last time I saw a game so lacking in quality. Pleased to get a clean sheet but really we need to beat WBA to maintain the form which will get us out of trouble.

Come on, you lot, that could've been worse. Not inspiring going forward against a stout defence and three days after the last match. Clean sheet, Hennesey looked decent again, a point away from home. Didn't do anything stupid, either. Tomkins MoTM again for me. Solid.

We’ve been playing some great football with Benteke out but I feared his return would mean we’d revert back to hoofing it and we have, shame. The two most influential attacking players played out of position, very odd decisions, very poor display.
