That is actually more possible than you may think, Judging by member states contributions, as a guide to their clout in the EU, France are one of the big players, and are being put under increasing pressure to tighten their belts. Reading between the lines, the popularity of the French Leader is waning on the back of him pleading to conform with the EU's edict on fiscal affairs, and we all now how fickle the French can be when being told to do something they don't like. The far right in France is gaining popularity also in Germany (rather worringly) and the sole driving factor in these nutters gaining popularity is utter disdain at the mentalists from the EU trying to turn Europe into some kind of single currency socialist utopia. My money is on Britain giving the EU a two fingered salute and saying no deal and shove your trade up your bum. Closely followed by France and that will be that.
The structural reforms France needs particularly labour law reforms will be a challenge even with the mandate Macron has. And if he wants to be popular he's in the wrong job.

No they are warped. Any thread here in this case 'the labour party conference' is a vehicle for the 'we hate the EU' brigade. Just a bunch of nazis. It's a change from their usual paranoia about race and immigration.

No, the post referred to anti-EU posters on this site only. That's a very stupid deflection.

As I said earlier, most people didn't care until immigration rocketed. There were some great things from the EU. Agency workers' rights in about 2002. Give Corbyn credit. He understands the EU is not for our benefit, there are some positives and some negatives that'll never change, and therefore we'll have to leave. Funny that lefties can't see this and are happy being restricted by a parliament we have a 7% presence in. Anyway, back to the conference and how all of the supporters there use Amazon and other tax dodging companies.

Labour really projecting that they are the government in waiting. Photos of Jeremy looking the statesman in the press making him more of a Wilson or Blair type. A good comparison against hatchet faced Mrs May re-assuring EU citizens that they will not be collected in vans and sent to holding centres while doing exactly that.
