Sounds really down and clutching for positives or past achievements. We've had a revolving door of managers without a dof and parish deciding on player matters that are in isolation of all others. Recipe to go wrong. Well it might not with 2 strikers. Looks a big mistake not getting that Turkish lad in.

Steve Parish's biggest mistake was sacking Alan Pardew in December 2016, when we sat outside of the relegation positions, in 17th. Shame on all those who called for Pardew's head.

A Benteke on form yes but not this slow, watered down out of form long term version we have now. And he can't even be dropped

Turn it in, championship clubs probably could've beaten us with their lack of fitness and professionalism. Have you not noticed how they didn't respond to Sam and half of them, although correct in their judgement, fell out with the other half over the validity of Frank's haste.

I actually question if people genuinely watched us play under Pardew in the last year or so. It was an absolute nonsense excuse of a tactical set up and despite the various Parish Cock ups, no one can say he didn't back Pardew in the window.

It doesn't make a difference who is striker? So Campbell who scores 1 goal every 2 seasons is no different to Benteke? Yeah ok mate.

Thanks Kermit, and agree also, we always had fight in us back then, and were capable of coming back from behind, that is the key difference.

Now the miracle worked Big Sam has gone its becoming evident just how good Pardew was for us and what a mistake it was to let him go.

I have heavily criticised Pardew but either parish or Pardew, and with their relationship of hands in each other's belts I'd say both are responsible for: Souare as 1 left back where we might have got by with another, and enough points to get us through without buying 2 in January. And similar in def mid, which happened 7 months earlier when Jimmy got injured (if any plastics are reading, he was quality for us then) and we waited 6 weeks for Jedi to stop losing games with shyte passes after coming back in. Same mistakes and sh1t, same Parish, different outcome?
