Failsafes? Ok Kermy, seeing as you are going down this line, so what do you think Parish was going to do then if Palace continued to lose money? You know....like it had been doing for pretty much most of the time. There was no realistic hope of promotion for Palace in 2010 over any other Championship side. How on earth did Palace represent a good investment? You know what Kermy....I reckon you should invest in the worst performing championship side that is in most danger of going out of existence. You know....I hear it's a great investment opportunity that makes a lot of sense because you can pick things up really cheaply. I wonder why? Still....I'm eager to know who you are going to invest in mate....Because it sounds like such a sensible thing to do with your money. Edited by Stirlingsays (11 Sep 2017 2.29pm)

After the spirit and fight shown by the team yesterday, this morning's sacking is plain bonkers and clearly shows that a decision to replace Frank was made some days ago. Based on yesterday's game only, it is an odd looking decision, which suggests that there may well be a lot more to it than just results.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Seems the team played well at Burnley. Just think a single goal would have kept FdB in post. Such is the margin for a football manager. After SP bollocking the players after Sunderland things got better so why not do the job himself !!

I can't believe SP loses sleep from HOL hot air. However, if it is really true that buying Sakho was a populist decision that's basically as bad as the mess with this sacking. Didn't need him, far bigger priorities should have been addressed. Parish's response on Twitter last night worried me. That most definitely does show a man who is feeling it. By all accounts De Boer was pretty much his baby and it wasn't working. The usual idiots, who every club has, won't temper their reactions of course. So it does worry me a little.

After our best performance so far, de Boer sacked - crazy! I'd rather have Dougie or even Pardew back than him. Our owner has lost his marbles. Heaven help us all ...

Four games, four loses...three against the weakest Premiership sides....and no goals. A side that decides to park the bus is always going to make its opponents look better because it's they who have to push it and have possession. It's what was happening in the dressing room that is important and only a few people know that.

Edited by Stirlingsays (11 Sep 2017 2.29pm) If they own the land and it's in a very desirable spot and the price was less than what that land was worth then it could be a right money-spinner.
