Only Trump and the right wingers on this thread would say that the neo Nazis and their opponents are morally equivalent. That's the most relevant post IMO and you were there.

I don't think anyone would condone the actions of neo-Nazi thugs, but the fact is that they were met by Left wing groups who were equally political and equally blinkered in their outlook. The local immigrant population was a pawn in the game. I don't blame people for defending themselves against a perceived threat but there was more going on than just self defence, of that I'm sure.

Not everyone in the Anti-Nazi league were hardcore leftists. There were people from the trade unions, race equality groups, students, feminists and so on, as well as the far left and anarchists.
