I think we need to play a real centre-back in that position, and if that means Delaney and Kelly, so be it. Trying to shove someone like Milivojevic or Schlupp in there firstly means someone playing in the wrong position and making mistakes, and secondly means someone not available to play in the right position. We need Milivojevic doing what he does best.

Kelly looked fine when he had a decent and regular centre-half alongside him but when he is the only recognised centre-half not only he but the defence can look vulnerable.Kelly will feel more comfortable with Delaney next to him rather than someone filling-in.And it is important that Milivojevic sits in front of the back two and offers protection.

Late, late equaliser. Hopefully it's them rather than us. We're then safe and they have the last day to battle it out. That'll do me. We can then go in to the Man U game with no fear. Beat them & that'll be Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool & Man U in one season. However, we're Palace...

Delaney and Kelly are both recognised centre-halves. They may not be our most accomplished centre-halves but they should be capable of doing a job against the likes of Hull if they are drilled properly and if, as you say, they are not having to deal with "unorthodox" selections in other positions.

It does almost certainly have to be Damo and Kelly. I hope McArthur is back to his best, pressing the ball hard in midfield after we've knocked it long. They mustn't be able to pick passes down the side of Damo to Niasse. Edited by Ginger Pubic Wig (10 May 2017 8.09pm)

Some pundits have weighed in. On bbc.com, Lawro says 1-1 while Andy Murray says 2-0 Palace. Over on sky, Merson is picking us to win 3-1. On NBCSports.com (USA), their guy says Hull 2-1. Take it all for what it's worth, which IMHO isn't much at all.

I've been getting a few of the US streams for matches and one thing I've learned from them is that their pundits have quite bad humerus - posterior differentiation issues.

The guy on NBC breaks his down by category, which is what a Vegas bookie would do. Otherwise, most pundits over here have never set foot in England, never mind a football ground.
