Labour would be best advised to limit her appearances in the media but they are so inept they probably don't recognise it.Every time her face appears and/or she opens her mouth it is a vote for the other parties. People talk about 'Boris' being a liability - all those who believe this will surely accept he is simply NOT in the same league as Abbott.

If you want a wider philosophical debate while you are here, you could explain why racial abuse is apparently more offensive than any other form?

She said: “People are entitled to be angry, but they're not entitled to say that I am black filth and I should be hanged. Do you see what I mean? "There's a difference between saying 'I don't like what Diane Abbott did' or 'I don't agree with her on some things, and just this really angry racist abuse." Anyone else think she deserves any racist abuse she gets?

I don't think abusing someone for their colour is particular logical because colour is not something one has control over. It's like calling someone a lanky git or a ginger t***. It's designed to inflict hurt but has no rational basis. Do you want to answer my questions and or produce evidence that she has in fact been racially abused?

I don't like Abbott....She is a hypocrite and lover of victim culture. That said, I think the hue and cry over her getting her brief wrong is overblown. We all make mistakes, she knows she will never have to realistically run the department......What bothers me are her opinions. Edited by Stirlingsays (05 May 2017 7.56pm)
