Its a game of fine margins. We hit the bar, their keeper saved Dann's header, defensively we looked pretty solid, I know they hit the post and hennessey made saves galore, but, in the end Coleman runs through a channel where the injured Schlupp should have been, goal, game over. Fine margins.

The problem is, if we allow the opposition time and space when they are 40/30 yards out, eventually they will pick a pass and score a goal. Notice that when we attack, we are harassed and space is minimised. We don't do it, and that is why we all sit there waiting for them to score. It feels inevitable because it IS inevitable defending in this manner.

Apparently Palace playing home games like the away side is the mentality this manager is pushing.

Pardew's sides competed and they weren't in the bottom three.

Next 5 games and the remainder of the transfer window are massive. Feeling more positive with schlupp looking decent and remey. Onwards and upwards coyp!

Really?

1. That lot trounced Citeh 4 - 0 last week. Same XI.
2. Wilf is in Africa for now.
3. Remy is looking better with each match.
4. Schlupp looks pretty decent to me. Bit more quality required with the balls in but oozing with pace and kept Coleman quiet except when he couldn't get back on the pitch.

We're just not getting the luck, what are they doing at Selhurst Park? Killing black cats and having walking under ladder competitions? A little smidgen of s*** going our way would be nice please, thank you very much.

Not black cats but in the 1930's a Palace keeper hanged himself from the crossbar at the Whitehorse Lane end. Maybe his ghost is back to haunt us.

Agreed. We need a Director of Football, weren't they talking about getting one in at one point.

Haha maybe we could hang him up again to give Hennessey a hand?

(Though he did have a good game today)

I think one of our problems is that Parish pretty much sees himself as this

This team lacks the quality for this league, I cannot see them staying up now they are just not good enough despite all the money we have spent the buys have been in the main poor, they were all struggling for first team football at their previous clubs and now we know why!

Hard to see where our next point is coming from. Worked so hard today against a good side yet nothing to show for it again. Not complaining about the tactics but we really do lack a bit of quality in all departments. Impressed by Schlupp and Remy today though. Bournemouth and Sunderland coming up, probably need at least 4 points from those otherwise we looked doomed!

if it wasnt for the fact we're running out of games, i wouldnt have been too disappointed by that. definite improvement, and a lot more passion by everyone, for the first time in months.
why parish didnt get rid of mildew way before he did, i dont know. SA, wouldve have more games and time to get the squad into shape. left it far too late. allardyce says he wants 5 more in. think he's got a point. we've such a thin squad. benteke needs someone to play off/with. lee was terrible when he came on. for once i thought cabaye did well, but he got taken off, for ledley who was then non existent.
we didnt play terrible, just too deep. and they only scored when we had 10 on the pitch. remy looked hungry and put himself about. schlupp was very promising.
