Can any body tell me why it takes palace so f***ing long to sign a player. Is parish just waiting for someone to come in and take Robbie Brady and avh ( Dutch guy from Sunderland) out from under his nose so he can say " we made bids and had no luck " it's a very simple process. Agree a fee with the club which has already been done, agree personal terms have a medical and sign on the dotted line. Sign the f***ing players already.

From the Irish Sun, updated 40mins ago:
The Guardian are reporting that a structured deal regarding fees has been agreed but that the deal is not yet over the line. Burnley also remain interested in the left sided player and fellow Irish internationals Jeff Hendrick and Stephen Ward have reportedly been trying influence their fellow Irishman. The Guardian reports that the offer for Brady could eventually rise as high as £12 million if Crystal Palace manage to remain in the Premier League this season.

Looks like we're going to sign three left backs this window!!!!

Not just palace, every team. I can think of the pogba deal which lasted all summer. Marseille pesuit of Payet...or is it me or did Stoke and barahino just go on and on? It's a game of cat and mouse. Football clubs = they want to get the best deal for them. You don't want to pay over the odds for a player. Nor, do you want to commit to a player and then find someone better becomes available. Players = try and get as much as possible. Why settle for the first offer out there. You want a four year deal, not two years. You might be Man U's third choice, so you want to see if they fail with their 1st and 2nd choices. This is why deals take so long and why most deals happen towards the end. Hope that clears it up for you 'palaceken'

f***ing hell, has it come to this. Snubbed for f***ing Burnley? What a s***show. Gutted about this too, Brady is a bit of class, would have preferred him over Van Arnholt for sure.

Sorry but this does look a little bit like bollocks to me. All I can find on NewsNow is this which says only "marginally" more likely Burnley, and then about midnight BBC Sport says nothing except that Palace have agreed a fee of £9m. And only one bookie (Sky Bet) is giving odds. One might be forgiven for thinking that a player had more chance of premiership football next season if he joined Burnley than if he joined us. That said, if we are going to set store by bookies' odds, those who fancy us to finish above Swansea can be accommodated at 11 - 8 on.
