Watching highlights on tv and there was the Zaha dribble and shot vs their one on one before the penalty . We looked more positive early on but again the Pardew excusers are on excuse number 776. One game here and there fair enough. 11 months. Pffffft.

Is everyone ignoring ginger nearly converting the cross before we equalised in another under 12s style game?

Ohhh didums your going to blame that draw on the ref not sending off a player ? FFS this is HULL we are talking about not b****** Real Madrid, HULL ! and we arguing over a s*** ref decision, it shouldn't have mattered.

And by the way, our record against ten men under AP is less than f***ing impressive.

We're in our 4th season allowing bottom clubs and clubs in sh1t form to take the p1ss.

Do you not remember Parish saying we need to drop the mentally of losers. I can't believe so many are happy to let this bloke take is down because you don't want it to mean his last prem job seeing as nobody would take him on. Don't worry I'm sure Mr Super duper Al will survive on probably £3 mil on top of the millions already in the bank.

Ah feck it you can have half my season ticket seats. I'll still pay, just won't come to all of them after this surrender. Pathetic is what we're becoming. From manager to players to fans. Soft surrendering, spineless under belly.

Judging from majority opinions here:

It seems like we have the following team right now:
Hennessey (mediocre --or crap)
Kelly (not prem level)
Fryers (not prem level)
Dann (good on his day, but inconsistent this season)
Delaney (solid but slow, and probably too old)
Ward (solid, or crap to some)
McArthur (good on his day, but inconsistent)
Cabaye (crap and over-rated) *
Ledley (solid but slow)
Zaha (a star) *
Puncheon (good on his day, but inconsistent)
Townsend (crap) *
Benteke (a star) *
Campbell (not prem level)
Flamini (who knows, but probably too old) *
Lee Chung-yong (not prem level) *
Mutch (not prem level) *
Sako (not prem level) *
Speroni(who knows, but probably too old)

Those with an asterisk may be Pards choices, though Sako and Lee were said to be Parish surprise signings at the time. (Injured Parish-Pards signing include Pape, Wickham, Remy and Mandanda) Interesting that except for Pape, Pards hasn't had any luck bringing in any of his defensive choices (unless you count Cabaye as a holding mid). But perhaps that makes sense with our goal scoring issues the past 2 seasons.

Is this the roster another manager would turn into a top-half team?

West Ham, Sunderland and Swansea all have more years in the Premier League than us, but are below us. So the 4th season statement is irrelevant. What makes us so special?

Palace are still a relatively poorly financed club (even with the new owners) with a limited stadium and a team (baring Benteke) that has not cost a fortune to pull together (especially after netting off sales) - so yes we punch above our size. Look at the big clubs that have languished in the Championship or below (e.g. Leeds, Sheffield Wed, Derby, etc).

I personally think Parish got ahead of himself and built up unrealistic expectations. That is not to say I am happy with losing - although over the years have got perhaps to used to it. Overall, I see the last few years have been some of the most optimistic since I started supporting the club. I don't think we'll go down and bar some awful defending on occasions I don't think we're playing that badly; but we'd survive if we did. Hull have been picking up in recent weeks - getting fair results at home (West Brom and Southampton) - so getting a draw is not the calamity or a surrender as you suggest. I would rather the high scores we are seeing than the Pulis approach - although a middle ground would relax my dodgy heart.

You can say I'm stuck in the past, have no ambition and accept losing, but I am saddened by the venomous rhetoric and apparent lack of realism. Maybe it is because of what Leicester achieved last year - but until yesterday they were below Palace.

I am not a huge fan of Pardew, but do not at the moment see a better option and he still seems to have the dressing room. Who is this super manager that we can attract? Why would they join a club apparently in crisis? Apart from being in London what do we offer to a big name manager who does not have major baggage?

Feckin hell. Dont know if you ever watched us for most of the eighties but you would have been suicidal. You do know that the 2010 in the CPFC bit indicates the rebirth of the club after nearly disappearing. 72 other league clubs would love to be where we are. Plus the 5 below us.

You have it about right, most of AP signings are players (or his mates) who could not get first team games at their previous clubs all they want is to pick up their inflated wages and they could not give a stuff about CP. AP will take us back to the championship with players who are past it or useless with a wage bill we cannot afford at that level and here we go again struggling for our survival
and existence. Those who want to keep AP in his job are misguided as his form is not supporting this!

Would people ever accept that a team like Hull can be a really tight nit group with a siege mentality at this stage of the season are fighting for their lives and with our confidence low can make these ( expected wins ) far from a certainty. We seem to have lost some of this togetherness perhaps being in the Prem for a couple of years does that but some of the sence of entitlement to beat teams and people's thoughts of where we should be now are not helping as the fear of what might happen seems to be transferring from the stands to the players.
There is absolutely no guarantee that changing the manager would help and I admire our chairman for giving our manager as much time as possible to get things right. Us as supporters should be helping as much as we could rather than hindering in my eyes. Perhaps if we are really scrapping for our lives at the end of the season we can get some of that siege mentality back and all pull together.

You keep calling me a baby yet you publicly wanna have an argument to look special. It seems very strange to constantly comment on threads started by someone you decided you can't take seriously over a year ago. Seems like you care about my opinion a lot more than you make out.

We're the Arthur over ere!
