Enjoy the championship then. True Palace fans, want the team to do well, if that is 1-0 at home in PL then so be it, much better than playing in the lower leagues!

The sort of Kamikaze football Pardew is currently advocating will see us in the Championship sooner rather than later. His tactics are indefensible and how you could possibly say "we are a better footballing team than last year" given our relative positions in the league now and leading up to last Christmas says it all reallY I am very disappointed he appears to be so incapable but I fear he's unlikely to get any better. We need to get rid of him before he does any more damage. Edited by Henry of Peckham (29 Nov 2016 12.57am) Well said that Man, don't forget he has also had the biggest transfer budget of any manager in the history of CP and look where he has taken us, it is the Manager who is responsible for the team set up and tactic and since last Christmas it has been a joke, the cup finale got him off the hook last year and they even lost that when in front with 12 minutes left!

That useless defensive coach Millen is also partly responsible for our downward spiral and when the inevitable axe falls on Pardew,he should go to.

Going into added-on time, Bradley was under huge pressure and Pardew was seemingly "Off the hook". Total reverse 7 mins later. Perhaps as a positive, one can say that the players showed great fighting qualities to come back from 3-1 down and as such one could conclude that they were still playing for Pardew.

All of these stats are for the calendar year. I prefer to judge him over the seasons. Is relegation decided on a calendar year result? No. Is anything? No.

"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!" |

I might be wrong but I get the feeling that all those who firmly want Pardew dismissed would want a Pardew led team v Southampton to lose rather than win as they will conclude that this will hasten his departure whereas a win could see him given more time at the club.Maybe in the main I am totally wrong about this.

On current form it's highly unlikely that we will get anything out of Southampton other than a humiliating battering. If we can concede five goals against the bottom club who are so devoid of attacking skills that they didn't even play a recognized striker until the last minutes what is going to happen when we play the team that totally outplayed Everton earlier this week even with a 19 year old on debut running riot on the pitch

We have every chance of getting something though I think it needs a decent performance to go with it if fans are to settle down a bit.
